Spurrier had a lot of control over who came in. I know Snyder got players a coach didn't want once, and I'm pretty damn sure he learned his lesson. Ramsey, Coles, Trung, Morton, all coveted by Spurrier, and Vinny and Snyder got the deals done. Hrm, come to think of it. Hire Spurrier as our GM. 3 outta 4 ain't bad. (I'm purposefully leaving out most of the other talent flops)

I love Spurrier, but it was his staff and his lack of discipline that got him in trouble, but I think he can still be an excellent coach, unfortunatly it might not be in DC =(

The only thing I remember Spurrier asking for and not getting was Danny Aweful last year. Spurrier was terrible.

I never claimed to know 100% of a story but post my honest "opinions".

B. Mitch!

B. Mitch! That's the list! But my uncle up in Alexandria has a pic with Sonny on his wall, since he used to referee local FB games.

I have met several past and present players, but last season...
I coincidently stayed at the same hotel the Redskins were staying at in Buff. NY. last season. I was there for work, not the game. So I was very surprised when I got into an elevator by myself and a big hand stopped the door from closing.
Suddenly as many big people as could fit, crammed into the elevator with me. Much to my surprise the Redskins had just arrived from the airport to the Hotel. I was disappointed because Ex-QB Rob Johnson was standing next to me and not a real Redskin. I was surprised at how small and skinny Rob Johnson is, I could have kicked his ass. I amazed Cerrato/Snyder ever signed him. Did they ever meet him?
All the players were very nice and willing to talk.
Lavar Arrington surprised me the most. He made himself the most available out of all the players to the fans. He was always down on the ground floor near the restaurant/bar area, meeting fans and signing autographs. When I came home at 11:00-11:30pm on Saturday night before the Bills game, and Lavar was still at a table at the bar hanging out (not drinking) and signing autographs.
The next morning (Game day) my breakfast group was sat by the hostess at a table right next to Sonny Jurgenson and Samm Huff. These table were almost too close together. But Sonny and Sam did not mind, in fact they said hello and are incredibly nice and LOL funny. They talked about the upcoming game and Sam Huff was constantly telling old football stories. Very interesting.....

Ok, I've never met any of the 'Skins, but the Redskinettes do come over on USO tours pretty regularly. I had them on my morning show in Keflavik two years ago.

Did anyone of you see Willis McGahees knee injury. Seeing his leg dangle because it wanst connected by any tendons was not a pretty sight either. In mens health a few months back they had a story of teh top ten sports injuries. I beleive Joe was second. Some of them were pretty gross.

Its difficult to get player autographs when you live in a completely different country.
