Boom: Wow. AdamSchefter: Arizona is trading RB Tim Hightower to Washington for a conditional late-round, along with DE Vonnie Holliday.

Really? So we're trading away a big guy for "competition" at another skill position? Where the heck is the competition in the trenches?

Are you referring to O-line (Chester) or D-line (Bowen and Cofield)?

Yes. It's not that I don't like the guys they signed up front, but why are they using this overkill, "we love competition COMPETITION 4 EVAR HAHAHAHAA NO REPS 4 U" strategy with the skill guys and not the trenches.

Granted part of me hates the overkill strategy seeing as it leads to great decisions like giving Galloway playing time over Austin but damn give me at least two more guys. IIRC our tackle depth going into today was Williams, Fulton, and Oldenberg. I feel a little better now with Brown resigned but man.

I think part of it though might be the coaches viewing the receivers as some sort of space invaders shoot em up type position while the offensive line is like a delicate eco system.
