Did he play behind an amazing OL? 6'2" 220 too small for you? He can evade the rush he isn't Ryan Mallett.

Wow....I honestly did not think he was that tall, he looked smaller than that to me. So, ok, I certainly retract that statement. I would say yes his Oline was consistently one of the best in CFB all year.

I think his pocket presence and scramble ability made his OL look better than they were and I thought they were ok.

Heath Shuler is retiring from Congress. Rumor had it that he will return as Redskins QB.

Just like people say now we don't give up any picks and we can keep trading back until the 7th round. #WINNING

I'm sure he had trouble with his passing legislature skills.

Re: I See QB Rumors (2012 QB Thread: The Sixth Sense)

After thinking about it all night I thoroughly believe that RGIII would come here and put up 2,500 yards passing 20 TDs 500 yards rushing and 5 TDs.

On a side note is 2005 the last time we had a QB pass for 20 TDs with Brunell's 23 that year?

Not sure but I think JC went 20 td's and 15 picks one year, either 08 or 09 I believe.

In 2009, his last year in DC, JC was 20 TDs and 15 Ints with an 86.3 QB rating.

But then, I thought the same about Landry
Reference what was originally stated by Smoot, most fans have a much different attitude, almost desperate because we are in such need of a QB. Where the guys making decisions are much more rational and methodical. There's good reason for it as a move up in the draft, costing multiple high round picks to get a guy can cost coaches their jobs and a franchise setback if it fails.

I wouldn't want to be in our coaches and scouting departments shoes this year.

I mean it's not going to shock me if we did trade up for RG3, it's just that from what I hear that doesn't appear to be the current lead intent

I'm saying that from what I've heard consensually (that's actually not a word is it? or is it?) they're more inclined to give up assets for Luck or Bradford over RGIII.

Michael Lombardi is saying the chatter at the Senior Bowl was the Redskins plan to sign Kyle Orton. As I think I mentioned in another thread, I've come around to liking that provided we add a couple of young QBs. I hadn't heard that there was new chatter about Orton to the Redskins during the Senior Bowl but I do know that they inquired with the Broncos about trading for him during the pre-season and regular season (I think I only told Matty about this...apologies to the rest of the mods). I can't recall if they made a bid for him when he was waived.

Alright Smoot, my question to you is, now that Peyton is 'healthy' how does this involve/effect the Redskins and Luck and the rumor of us possibly getting Luck or Bradford (more so Luck)?

Well, he's not totally "healthy" yet. Right now, I don't think anything has changed
