Re: Redskins Free Agents Signings Thread

i dont mind our FO approach this year of not dishing out contracts that may limit future caps but I was hoping for us to upgrade RT and FS at a minimum.

So far we upgraded our 3/4 receiver.

porter and the MLB guy seem to plug some holes.

Not upgrade or make our team better, but plug some holes.

I agree about the approach 100%. I would rather keep the same garbage than bring in new garbage though. Atleast there is stability and familiarity with old garbage.

lol wait, I wouldn't call these new guys garbage just yet. Let them prove to us that they're garbage first.

Some of the old garbage really needed to go though. Davis, Morgan, Wilson. Blah. Stinkers.

I dont hate the Sharpton signing, but he has been hurt alot. He is supposedly solid against the run which is what we need in our D from the ilb. Porter is strait up trash though.

Redskins Looking Like Bargain Hunters

Nice little read and for the record I like our approach prove it contracts plus the draft.

i also dont hate the sharpton signing. sounds like a lorenzo type guy that can be servicable (albeit limited) in the middle.

I kind of wish we would have made a push for D R-C. Denver can't hang on to him now that they offered Talib all that dough.

Probably content at CB now though - until the draft - with the addition of Porter.

at this point i dont want to add any significant contracts.

lets suit up for this season, see where the chips fall and make a big push next offseason.

noooo, they need to sign a good one.... Browner, Thurmond, or ?

They have $8 million now, and more if they make cuts

Sign Browner and move him to safety. Receivers would be scared to death to come over the middle against us. He's top notch on ST's, as well.

Decent article though it seems as though he has some problem with our way of going about things, and if Robert does return to 2012 form we are better than 8-8 in the east.
