Re: Redskins vs. Patriots game thread
Why can't he throw it in the end zone? Is he afraid or something?

Re: Redskins vs. Patriots game thread
Oh well. Throwing short again. At least we would've lost and not gotten shutout. If we took the FG

Re: Redskins vs. Patriots game thread
I'm wondering if this game even deserves any analysis or discussion. It's 38-0, we're playing a team that is in another class than we are.
This is like college ball with Ohio State playing Navy. Really, what else is there to say?

Re: Redskins vs. Patriots game thread
The Patriots offense is a prime example of what happens when you field the best offensive line in the league. They can send four or five guys out on passing routes on every play and virtually guarantee that someone will be open each and every time. Meanwhile Brady sits back and takes his sweet time picking which one to toss to.
If ever there was an argument for dumping every last bit of time, effort and cash into your offensive line, the Patriots are it.

Re: Redskins vs. Patriots game thread
Is it just me or is Moss looking like a different guy? He hasn't looked like an All-Pro stud since 2005.

If I can have '05 Moss and Portis on this team to go with J-Cam, ARE, Cooley, and this year's defense, I'm liking our chances of hanging with anybody.

Re: Redskins vs. Patriots game thread
I hate to say it...but Moss aint jack unless he has Brunell throwing to him exclusively for a full season.

Re: Redskins vs. Patriots game thread
Randy Moss also looked ordinary last year in Oakland with a struggling QB. Look at him now. A WR needs a good QB and Campbell is not playing well right now.

Re: Redskins vs. Patriots game thread
Are you really going to tell me that Brunell is better than Campbell? I'm not talking about today, as he's clearly going through the ringer, but maybe you ought to go back and check some game logs. Or better yet watch the "highlights" of the GB game, and see how many favors the receivers were doing for Jason.

Re: Redskins vs. Patriots game thread
To Daseal:
Case in point, Mike Vrabel has probably singlehandedly waxed our squad: 10 tackles, 3 sacks, 3 fumbles forced (one turned into a TD), and a TD reception. I don't know about you but I'd like to think that better execution should prevent a single player from absolutely dominating our squad on both sides of the ball.

Re: Redskins vs. Patriots game thread
Don't we have some passing routes that go down the field and not to the sidelines?

Re: Redskins vs. Patriots game thread
Remember when the Giants beat is 34-0 in '05 and we rallied for a playoff berth? Again, thank God we play a cupcake next week.
