I get that there's a limited budget for special effects on TV, but holy hell, it looked like they never bothered to do a final render on the scenes where the cape was CG'd. I mean it was SyFy movie of the week quality. And this is from someone who loves comic books, sci fi and special effects centric cheese.

and DR, Bob's Burgers grew on me as I watched.

I hated Bob's Burgers. It is poorly drawn, I don't like the characters, and it felt like they were saying effed up shit just to say effed up shit. The one thing that I did like is for once the father character is not the dumbass. I will give it a few more episodes to grow on me and allow for character development but right now it isn't looking good.

Don't forget Spartacus: Season 2 comes on in less than two weeks.

Also, HBO's Game of Thrones is coming up this April.

Neither are suitable for people that like floral arrangements...

Assassin's Creed needs to get the movie treatment. If they did it right, it could be a great trilogy.

Assasins Creed main storyline is terrible. In fact it is beyond terrible. The story of Ezio Auditore is actually very good but every-time you get to the end of an assassins creed game it becomes a let down.

I wish Hollywood would quit bastardizing games with crappy movies. Especially Resident Evil where the director keeps on finding new ways to make his wifes Mary Sue character more and more powerful while spitting off ear bleeding lines that sound like they were written by a 12 year old.

Paul WS Anderson is the Vinny Cerrato of video game movies in that he had one decent hit (Mortal Kombat/Terrell Owens) but since then despite making absolute crap still finds a way to keep his job because people keep showing up to watch his terrible movies.

The ironic part is they could double, even tipple what they're making now off Resident Evil due to a recent demand for zombie movies. All they would have to do is get a director to give the franchise the Christopher Nolan treatment and they would be in the same ballpark as most summer blockbusters.

.
Disagree here. You have the makings of both a period piece and sci fi. Hard to beat that... I actually like the story line with the pieces of Eden, genetic memory, etc...

That parts you mentioned are all great. It's just the weird alien gods that ruin it for me.

I can't wait for both of those to start. For any Dexter fans the actress who played crazy super hot arsonist Lila in season 2 will be showing up in the Spartacus prequel that starts on the 21st.

I didn't think it was THAT bad. I kind of see the cheese as it's charm.

Of course, I didn't have any expectations for the show either.

About the only show I like to watch on TV is "Chuck" anyways...

re: What Shows Are You Watching?

It's a few years old now, but i started watching Damages. I've watched two episodes and it's very good. Direct TV is showing this from season 1.

Season 3 of The Wire has now started. Really, the best show I've ever seen. Anyone who hasn't seen it, start from season 1 and try it out.

re: What Shows Are You Watching?

Bob's Burgers blows, the drawinngs and the voice of the main character remind me of Home Movies which was a little funny. I know I've got a half hour where I can be free of Fox' Animation Domination lineup.
