Thanks, great read.

Really like this part:

Quote:
*QB John Beck has some tools that these coaches should be able to work with. Early in 11-on-11 work, he rolled to his left and threw across his body, hitting TE Logan Paulsen in stride for a nice gain. He also drilled WR Shay Hodge in stride on a deep slant.

I’ve heard people around the league rave about how smart Beck is. He looks more comfortable in the offense every day. Today that showed in how he checked to Hodge in a hot read against the blitz. It was a quick slant that picked up about 10 yards.

Kyle Shanahan said last week that Beck hasn’t proved he can’t do it in the NFL. That’s an interesting way to look at him. Beck was drafted in the second round, so he has a quality pedigree. Perhaps being with the Shanahan father-son duo and McNabb will provide him with a level of teaching he wasn’t exposed to in Miami and Baltimore.
Way to go Johnny!

Mike and Mike on ESPN both picked the Skins to go 10-6. They picked the Eagles to go 8-8 and the Giants to go 6-10 and 7-9. Nice to see some love out there for once. Pretty much everything else I have read has them finishing last.

Skip Bayless, John Clayton, and Phil Simms are among others who also have been positive on the Skins

Yep for the first time in a long time I think this positive hype is built upon solid positives that the Redskins have.

John Clayton also thought we should have started Campbell back in 2007 against the Seahawks. Just saying. I do like the support of the other two though, oh and when is Sean Salisbury coming back? He's been on vacation for an awfully long time. Oh well, I guess thats the great thing about ESPN. Not only do you have mascots and athletes walking around the office but you offer great vacation packages.

SmootSmack...give us the lowdown. Will the skins make a move at WR in the next week or so and use some of our expendable talent to make the deal happen?

I haven't heard anything. I think at this point the receivers that will end up on our final roster are already here

I think that there are going to be some guys out there that get cut that would easily make our team. Dallas and Cinn. are two teams that have a lot of wr's and not all of them will make the team.

Jeremy Maclin and DeSean Jackson get into spat | ProFootballTalk.com

Hmmm, if only they had a QB that was capable of diffusing the situation.

Has Dennis Morris been doing poorly in camp? I was sure he would be the replacement for Sellers in a year or two. I see on the depth chart he is 3rd string fullback. What's up with that?
