Nice! Get Spencer and we have a nice little front.

So so maybe Hatcher and Cofield as DEs and Baker as NT? Or if we go four d-line, Hatcher and Cofield inside with Rak and Kerrigan on the outside? I like both situations.

Hope we keep Bowen. We need as many bodies as possible.

So Bowen is most likely a goner with this signing.
Of course if we can get Spencer than he is definitely out the door, and I wouldn't expect Cariker back either. But hey these guys are upgrades to what we have.

Hatcher played on the right side in Dallas. If he stays there, that would put him next to Rak. Word to the NFC East QB's: DUCK!

Seemed like we could never ever get Hatcher blocked whenever we played Dallas. He's been around a while, seems like a 2 year rental year type of player. He can help cave in the pocket. He's exactly the type of guy we need. Good move Redskins!

Re: Redskins Free Agents Signings Thread

Hatcher was so, so good last season.

He's never really been as good prior to that, and Dallas switched their scheme to the Kiffin/Marinelli base last year. Prior to that, he played end in the 3-4 and was kinda forgettable.

This move is pretty similar to the Bowen move, although the player is much older.

Hey, Lotus! Don't worry, be happy! The Skins will use Hatcher properly and our pass rush will terrorize our opponents. I'm already imagining Romo on his grass-stained rear end (heh, heh).

Hey, Hatcher is a good second place to the Joseph loss. And there is still a chance that we could land Chris Clemons. Do so and I will call this a successful free agency. Successful but far from perfect.

Re: Redskins Free Agents Signings Thread

yay somebody likes one of our signings:

Redskins sign ex-Cowboys defensive lineman Jason Hatcher to four-year, $27.5 million deal | Audibles - SI.com

I am really interested to see how the deal shakes out. But he ought to be a good player the next 2 years I imagine.
