Rolle was probably a slight upgrade over Clark. Glad Chicago overpaid for him. Their D is probably worse than ours.

Re: Who should we go for in Free Agency?
An anonymous head coach tells NBC Washington that "teams are afraid to sign" free agent DT Terrance Knighton because he's out of shape.
Knighton is meeting with the Redskins on Thursday, but has already been passed on by former coaches in Oakland and Chicago. He was expected to be a hot commodity as a run stuffer, and was at one point outrageously seeking $8 million per year. It's not exactly surprising that someone nicknamed "Pot Roast" is out of shape, but Knighton could cost himself all sorts of money by not hitting the open market in the shape he's expected to be in. per Dianna Marie Russini

Re: Who should we go for in Free Agency?
How bad of shape can he be in? Not like they are asking him to cover a deep third or provide over the top help on Dez Bryant.

Re: Who should we go for in Free Agency?
last year seemed to be the year to add a good FS under 30 in FA.
Perhaps someone decent will get cut when rosters need to be trimmed. if not, i say we just pocket some money and defer it to next year for added cap. |

Re: Who should we go for in Free Agency?
Per NFL trade rumors:
Update: According to Rand Getlin of Yahoo Sports, free agent DT Terrance Knighton remains in Washington and is still negotiating with the Redskins. As of now, there are reportedly five other teams still in the mix for Knighton. Getlin adds its unlikely a contract gets done between Knighton and any prospective today, and it could be a while before he has an agreement in place.

Re: Who should we go for in Free Agency?
It seems like Knighton and his agent are playing several teams at once. It's like they're having an auction. Nice of the Skins to host the auction for them.
Skins must really want him badly to keep him in town and continue to negotiate.

Re: Who should we go for in Free Agency?
If Knighton is out of shape, I would proceed with caution. Last thing the Redskins need is another out of shape fat fuck taking their money.

He's in town for Baker's wedding this week. Knighton is the best man.

Re: Who should we go for in Free Agency?
Sounds like they are proceeding with caution on a 1 year deal with Knighton, good job Scot!!
