Wentz, with all the background noise we’ve heard, sounds like a decent person. I’m sure with all the smoke before I’m certain there is some truth there…that mistakes were made, shit who doesn’t make them in the league? It’s good too hear he is active with teammates outside of the field and building relationships early.

Re: Welcome Carson Wentz
I definitely want to think that, but given the way things usually go for this team, chances are he will flame out and we'll be QB hunting again in the offseason.

I know people want to see the deep ball and whatnot, but I think the intermediate and short passing game needs to be on point. We have a lot of playmakers that can thrive with a strong short/intermediate passing game. We also need to have enough of a good passing game, so that opposing defenses won't just focus on defending the run.

Re: Welcome Carson Wentz
It's crazy how NFL media has taken a lock-step position that Wentz is somehow one of the five worst QBs in the NFL. With a lot of it being based on dickfuck Irsay. Just crazy. He is a top 16 NFL QB. And 2nd best in our division.

Re: Welcome Carson Wentz
Honestly, if he had gone to any other team the tune would be completely different. We just have to deal with that. He'll prove a lot of people wrong, and they'll be singing a different tune by week 6.

Pittsburgh was def interested as well as Cleveland. If he woulda gone to Pittsburgh the talking heads would have called it a home run and they would be a “sleeper pick” this week going into the season. This organization has rightfully earned this reputation..it’s gonna take alot more then Jason Wright pulling the same “winning off the field” narratives…only way to turn it around is on the field.

Re: Welcome Carson Wentz
It's just weird how he is judged. Most media members are spineless, so once a narrative gets drawn, lots of people just fall in line.
He was No. 9 overall in QBR last year. Oh the horror of having him be the starting QB for X team in 2022. The horror!!! Fuck Snyder and fuck our team (our team hasn't earned respect), it's flat out disrespectful to the man himself. Media loves their narratives. Just an excuse to be lazy imo.
