Joe Flacco's contract could be biggest in NFL history - SBNation.com

Mind you, I don't think Smith was the sole reason for his failures. It mostly had to due with his surroundings and changing coaches every year. Still, you are expected to produce in this league. "No excuses" is the phrase I hear all too often.

As noted prior, Mark Sanchez reached the NFC championship twice. Would you give up a 2nd rounder for him?

Besides, who is really in the market for Alex Smith? Buffalo? Cardinals? Chiefs? (can't add Jets due to their salary cap) I simply don't think the demand is out there enough to warrant a 2nd rounder. Also, not many teams pursued him when he was a free agent last off-season.
I'm with you, guess we'll see but I've always thought he was a bad QB and he's literally had 1 good year his entire career. So did Jason Campbell

And who would the find to replace Flacco? Flacco just had a Montana post season. Ravens will franchise tag him. They hope he has an ok 25TD 15INT type season so his price tag will drop. A lot of things will change in a year.

Re: Around the NFL Off - Season style.

Anybody saying they'd take Flacco over Eli is either high as **** or they've bumped their head recently. It's not even close.
