Re: Robert Griffin III ready to turn career around with Redskins in 2015
With the whole "RG3 not knowing if he even had a concussion" story out this week, and now this...
Robert Griffin III won't play for Washington Redskins on Saturday night I truly believe the organization has moved on from Griffin. This "independent" doctor found conclusive evidence to hold him out? It just seems like the Redskins are trying to hold RG3 out with an "Injury" instead of clearly stating, "We want to see how cousins does with the first team offense because he's our starter this year." Sadly, if this IS the case, I have more optimism for the season than before.

Re: Robert Griffin III ready to turn career around with Redskins in 2015
So no one thinks that this actually might have something to do with the hits he took v. Detroit? Honestly, when he came out of the game (and even beforehand), he looked a bit like a zombie.
Wow -- the conspiracy theorists with Oliver Stone-like tendencies to think that this is a grand plan to ease him out the door! I am not saying that it's impossible, but the more straightforward explanation -- that he really has some symptoms of being concussed -- seems the simpler and more reasonable one to me.

Although I am with you, it sounds very much like a conspiracy theory, what else can we expect from this team? I believe, the coaches saw an opportunity to get Cousins on the field WITHOUT committing to the idea of benching RG3 to the public and they took it. Moving on... I'm STOKED to see what Cousins can do with the 1's. If he comes out and lights it up....

Re: Robert Griffin III ready to turn career around with Redskins in 2015
Why can't the organization get all their sucks in a row?
The brain doc should have never cleared him in the first place if he wasn't sure. And if Gruden wants to bench Griffin just man up and put your big boy pants on. Let that guaranteed contract BS your shield. Unless at the end of the day your not ready pin your career on Colt/Kirk? But the way this went down is suspect. |
