I'm not going to drink the Kool-Aid and say that Wentz is going to be this great elite QB and whatnot. But what drives me crazy about all of this lazy journalism is that I ask myself: did these MF'ers see the QB play this team has had in the past couple of years? Any of them catch the gazillion wounded ducks that Heineke threw last year? Wentz may end up being an average QB, but that's a huge upgrade over the terrible QBs we've had in this team.

69, I’m gonna get you a Wentz jersey after he leads us to the playoffs this year.

Actually they were the same at 6.9
Both better than Josh Allen so I guess we're set |

Re: Welcome Carson Wentz
Irsay is off the rails but I wouldn't call it a smear campaign.
Wentz blew the last two games. Win 1 and youre in. In the final two games: Combined! 33/57 (58%) Att/Comp 333 Yards 2TD/1INT The two defense they played were ranked 26th and 29th in team defense. Wentz and the rest of the O shit the bed. |

We couldn’t blow the doors off of anybody but yes Irsay is a classless pos. Hopefully Carson at least carves them up and we win 37-33. |

So I cannot imagine what it is like for Wentz to play only 1-2 weeks after getting it. On top of that, he is not vaccinated so he might had it worse than I did (I'm vaccinated). |

Re: Welcome Carson Wentz
If Wentz was the QB for the Eagles again, I bet you the media would say they are still the favorites in the east

Re: Welcome Carson Wentz
In 8 starts Wentz didn't break 200 yards. In one start against NE he had 57 yards passing...lol.

Re: Welcome Carson Wentz
His O-line last year was ranked 30th in pass blocking efficiency...but I guess he should have somehow overcome that and taken them to the promise land. LOL
Look, I'm sure he could have played better. Should he shoulder some of the blame? Sure. Maybe he should washed his hands more, or worn a better mask, and not contracted COVID prior to the Raiders game... but the whole team as a unit could have played better down the stretch, and Coaches could have coached better. It's just nuts how this guy is getting all the blame for how his teams performed over his last two seasons. If you are on that wagon, you aren't looking at the whole picture. We'll see how he does...my guess is he'll shut a lot of people up pretty quickly. |
