It's the Eagles. On paper the move looks like a huge failure but somehow it'll work out for them, until the playoffs at least.

The UFL plays in the fall.

The New USFL plays in the spring.

Two different leagues.

Raiders are interested in Chad Johnson and apparently he wouldn't mind playing there. Espn Radio said it minutes ago

I'm sure Kyle is looking for an end-around specialist.

Re: NFL Coaching Rumors and Moves

Yeah, they're not going to cut DHB after two disappointing years. That was a major project pick when the Raiders made it. And they knew it.

I think they vastly overestimated their chances of being successful in developing him, but its unlikely they've come to a different realization now.

Adam Schefter is reporting (on Twitter) that Gregg Williams is going to interview for the Titans HC position on Thursday.

That's interesting, because I thought he didn't want it. I know he was upset with the Titans last year or the year before (whenever it was he interviewed to be their DC). I wonder if Fisher gave Williams a heads up he would be resigning and that's why he turned down the chance to interview with Denver

Re: NFL Coaching Rumors and Moves

Williams didn't turn down the DC job in Tennesee in'08, Bud Adams refused to employ Gregg's son as an assistant. Citing the Franchise's anti- nepotism policy. I wonder if the younger Williams would join his father?

Re: NFL Coaching Rumors and Moves

Castillo hasn't coached a defense since 1989 when he was coaching high school ball?

Wow.

This better work out otherwise Reid is gonna face some serious heat.

Reid's on the warm seat, can't imagine he did this to improve his standings though.

Re: NFL Coaching Rumors and Moves

I kinda felt sorry for Sean Mcdermit, having to fill the shoes of the late Jim Johnson Didnt know they fired him. Jim Johnson was a badass DC. RIP.
