Yeah I was listening to Rome at lunch and he replayed an interview with Orton from yesterday. Orton is a class act period, guy says all the right things. And then you hear the Tebow quotes, the twitter, the woody paige interview quotes...just doesnt sound like this Tebow character i heard about in college. Then to have Lebron back you up...ish that is never good.

How bad did that look? Not good. Sparano comes out losing this season, I cant see him making it through the season. Owner wants a big name in there...maybe a college coach big name. U gotta a guy familar with the state of Florida sitting back working part time for yall, wonder if there is interest?

Imagine if that was our situation. I'd bet that one group of Miami fans went out to practice one day and chanted Orton's name, and then since they got all that bad press about it with Sparano's reaction, another group went out to practice a different day to show their support for Henne.

Either way, glad it's not us. Drama free TC = good times.

Oh boy, this is not good...

ESPN 980

Looks like Davis will be seeing a lot of action this offseason.

Re: Training camp 2011 thread

Can anyone provide more information on Landry's injury, my buddy just sent me a message that people on the radio said he might not be playing this season, and that he made a big mistake not getting offseason achilles surgery. I hope this is totally false, but I'm a little worried.

Re: Training camp 2011 thread

I don't think he'll miss the season, but he says his achilles is not healing as quickly as he would have liked and instead of the platelet transfusion (or whatever it was he had) this past offseason he said he may have to consider traditional surgery next offseason

It wouldn't totally surprise me though if he misses the start of the season, and I don't expect him to play in the preseason

But that's just my speculation. He, of course, says he's playing the opener

I heard on ESPN980 that IF his achilles doesn't respond this season, he may need surgery next offseason. The last tweets from some of the local reporters said that he wants his achilles has healed bu wants for it to get stronger before he goes full speed. I think he should let that achilles heal or get stronger during the offseason.

Another good camp recap...

Re: Training camp 2011 thread

Was at the camp today, I just want to mention some things I saw, although I cannot say much because my friend and I were at wrong spot, could not see QBs' actions during scrimmage sometimes. Plus my friend talked lot through out the practice..

Beck and Rexy didn't play great today, both made some bad throws; although Beck played better than Rexy.. Cooley didn't play. Davis looked pretty quick for TE, I'm really hoping we will use two TEs set often this season to take advantage of Davis' talents. Hankerson had few drops. Hightower really stood out in the practice today, he played with explosive and ran hard. Overall, the offense looks ok, but definitely better than last year..

As for defense, Riley started for Fletcher, Rocky at Riley's spot, Jackson started in Kerrigan's spot, Buchanan started for Hall; not sure why Fletcher and Hall were not playing. Riley looked good on the fieldWilson got burned few times, he was lucky QBs didn't throw to his side on those plays.

Landryslice, I don't think you need to worry. I saw him doing some exercises and he didn't look like he had any problem with his achilles.

Plus:

Their personnel guys believe that you can build a successful offense around Brandon Marshall, Reggie Bush, and some spare parts.

Their FA signings included Marc Columbo, who they then created an opening for so that he could start.

Their owner is so clueless that they're not going to be able to find an adequate replacement for Sparano when they actually need to.

It's going to be a rough decade for Dolphin fans.

Interesting. One guy I had heard was playing pretty well was Wilson

How did Clemens look? Heard he's looked kind of sharp
