Re: Redskins agree to trade for No.2 overall pick in 2012 Draft
Just in case anyone hasn't brought this up. I woulda prefered Bradford for two firsts two years ago (woulda had 2 more picks from not getting McNabb). Rams woulda done it.

I wanted Bradford at the time also but by most accounts the Redskins still tried hard to get Bradford even after the McNabb trade and the Rams wouldn't budge.

Re: Redskins agree to trade for No.2 overall pick in 2012 Draft
To be completely fair in putting criticism where criticism is due, Rex Ryan and Mike Tannenbaum essentially tried to push a deal where they're locking the Jets into the current plan for the 2013 season as well. Would have been too easy to fire both, get rid of Sanchez, Holmes, etc at the end of this upcoming season if the Jets struggled. Now with Sanchez locked in as Jets starter for at least 32 more games, you almost can't replace Ryan/Tannenbaum after this season (except internally, of course).

Re: Redskins agree to trade for No.2 overall pick in 2012 Draft
here is what i dont get we could have kept our picks and tried to get brady quinn or even joe webb. we could have even drafted tanninhill or hell ostwiller, weeden, or some other project qb. both moves would have still be cheaper then this.
but on this flip side all we did was give up 3 picks (2 first rounders and a 2nd rounder) normally it could have been way more so we will just have to deal with this. Which bring me to my other points do you know if mike vick was taller the eagles would have been real dangerous. (ala cam newton) oh and on the other side of things the bears gave up alot to get jay cutler from denver and what did denv er do with those picks? lets see they got tim tebow and denarius thomas who might i add didnt do hardly anything. one cant throw the other has no speed at all. so can we all agree to see what happens please? |

Yup, since last year going into the season with Rex Grossman and John Beck was such a championship move.

You all are gunna shit a brick if they moved up to get Blackmon to pair with their 3rd Rd QB Weeden because of their connection. LOL.
