Just to be totally clear, I am not "bitching" about the similarity to BC, I was just saying that is what it reminded me of, not that its a bad thing. I like the details in the helmet, and on the sleeve of the jersey, and the logo that is sewn in the collar of the jersey...

Its different, I do like it, but some have a hard time with change... & its only the throw back uniforms not there every day uniform...

Given that some enemy fans call us the Foreskins, the Pinkskins look is probably a bad idea.

To those morons...we had the colors first. We also had the spear first so THEY look like US!

Is that true, did the Redskins have that before Boston College?

Either way, the fact that they both were in Boston at one point probably has something to do with those colors.

And again, I love the helmets! It's just what my buddies were joking about a couple of weeks back, a leather helmet look. Didn't necessarily think it would happen. Glad it did

They'd prefer to look like Southern California (Trojans), or Arisona State, Central Michigan University, Ferris State University, University of Minnesota.

List of College Colors

Personally I prefer the metalic gold and dark burgundy. Teams that use these similar colors are:

BC
FSU
Texas State University
Bridgwater College

I remember back when we wore the Arrow helmets and ppl were saying that we were trying to copy off of FSU.....

Yeah, if people would just take a moment to use their brains they'd realize that there are not a whole lot of Indian symbols to be used on a helmet....

Indian Head
Arrow
Hatchet
Spear
Indian Shield
Teepee

So I guess what I'm saying is no matter what we use I'm betting some other team has it as well and everyone would be saying ...."we are copying them" or "I don't want to be like them."

I say who cares about them. I liked the "R" scripted helemt, I liked the "Arrow" helmet, I like the "Indian Head" helmet. You don't want to be FSU or BC then lets change the colors up a little. But again who cares about the colleges.

That helmet looks great. Kudos to Nike, I can't wait to see them playing in these and I'm thinking about getting one of those jerseys for my next jersey purchase.

I like them the for "throw back uniform" If they made them into our regular uniform I'd want them do something different for the helmet....

Not a uni geek at all and usually I am just forget the BS and go tradiotnal. I do like the all Burgundy look now and again.

But these MFers our outstanding! I genuinely love them. They are literally the first throwback that doesn't look like crap. And the helmet makes them simply awesome. Good job to Nike and Bruce on these.

Love love love that helmet!

I really like these throwbacks. I also agree that a updated logo would be very welcomed.

LOVE the helmets. I'm impressed. Are they leather-wrapped or is that just an incredible graphics job?

Good job, Nike, no black...all class.
