Re: Around the NFL...Offseason Style
Yep, when LL was drafted I was pumped to see him play along side ST. That would have worked and been a great duo. That is why LL didn't work. He never had a great fs next to him. With those two side by side though it would have been a whole different ball game. ST could make a player like ll look that much better. I really think losing him had a long lasting effect on this organization and really we are just seeing the team come back now. He was a huge loss to our team and it's whole makeup. He made guys better on both sides of the ball with the way he approached the game.

Re: Around the NFL...Offseason Style
For those saying if ST was still around LL would have been better. I never knew ST was a doctor too? LL's biggest problem is his health. When he was fully health like in McNabb's first year here; LL tore it up until he got hurt.

Re: Around the NFL...Offseason Style
LaRon Landry was just a rookie when Taylor was killed. Still, he was never the same player without Sean Taylor in the defensive backfield with him. LaRon did play well in 2010 before his injury, but after spending two years straight on IR the coaches wanted him to have surgery. Something he refused to do. They weren't going to gamble with him. So, they let him go. Intelligent move.

Re: Around the NFL...Offseason Style
Very funny. Clinton Portis situation was totally the same as Landry's. In Portis case, he was coming off of two straight injured reserves just like Landry. The only difference was Landry was asked to have the surgery while Portis was asked to take a pay cut. He refused and was released.

Jim Washburn: Albert Haynesworth appears 'finished' - NFL.com
I didn't realize they were referring to being a lazy **** as "having a degenerative back" these days. It could be his code for meaning "spineless". Can somebody start the "dead broke" timer on this asshat?
