Agreed on both accounts. Win loss only holds so much weight. Very little if you are looking at one position. An important one, but still one guy. If we had half a defense our team wins 11-12 games last year. As for the second point - yes KC did not play well. But that is one game. As far as him not playing well in big games - how many big games has he actually played in? Lol. |

I remember defense doing the best they could, and offense letting them down big time. I also do remember KC missing some wide open receivers... but at was said, that was one game. And he won us some big games to get us in position to win a playoff spot in week 17... Even if they do trade KC, I won't stop being a fan because, if it's a good deal, this team can keep on rebuilding, especially on the defensive side... but that'll be really hard to swallow. It would really be, by far, the stupidest move made by the team since I'm a fan.

Daniel Jeremiah is extremely well plugged-in. Thing is other well plugged in guys are saying other things. We just don't really know. But DJ has been a scout in the league for years, worked obviously on the media side too. Really tight with some of the current coaches on the team, like Kyle Shanahan and Chris Simms close

Re: Kirk Cousins 365 thread
No real reason to right now. Kirk's side won't negotiate until they know they have the franchise tag to work off of

Re: Kirk Cousins 365 thread
Then that's what makes the idea of the Redskins giving up their #17 pick AND Kirk Cousins to move up to #2 dumb to me. I'm sure DJ only gave part of what he's (possibly) heard, but I'm assuming if Cousins is tagged, there's much more involved in the trade than that.

Basically you are saying KC wants to have another team force the Skins up from what they are offering now, right? |

But I still don't believe speculation until I hear it from multiple sources. I'm still waiting until somebody corroborates it. Every NFL insider is all over this story now. You better believe ESPN is trying to get the scoop, they don't want to be scooped by the NFL Network (Jeremiah). So either the digging unearths something or I start to question it. Basically I'm giving it more time.

Re: Kirk Cousins 365 thread
I think the main thing is that Romo will get straight up cut. No one wants to trade for him AND take on that contract. I hate Cutler too, but man I've hated Romo's face for soooo many years and that stupid duck move that no one could ever figure out.

Re: Kirk Cousins 365 thread
first off I am getting very tired of Cousins, I was driving the Cousings train for a long time but the more and more I see and hear he is coming off as a petulant child. Right now he is acting like my 5 year old and saying if your not nice to me I am going to sulk in my room. GROW UP, this is a buisness they were trying to make sure that you were worth the money don't take it personally.
If we can get a decent trade then run with it and Kirk you enjoy your time in SF and the rebuild you will win nothing, or Cleveland where I think is a very good chance due to their cap and Hue Jackson is familiar with that style of QB from his time Dalton. If we do the deal with SF, I would expect a 2nd and 5th this year and next years first, if that is the case then go defense BPA at 17 and then get either Pettinger or kaaya late and groom them to be the future. (I actually think they may trade back and then trade with us to make it a mid first this year and probably a 2nd and some others next year) If it is Cleveland and we get their #12 overall, would still go BPA defense and then Deshone Kizer with #17 and again let him sit a year behind Colt. |

Re: Kirk Cousins 365 thread
It's a sad situation that we're even discussing a possible trade of Cousins and which damaged QB we should pick up so we can finish 4-12.

And what's really sad, as I hate to say it, but Romo is a good QB and for all we know he would play great for a game or two, we'd crush our opponents, and then when he gets hurt we finish like you say, 4-12 or worse. If they let Cousins go I think I'm done as a fan. I don't' know how we can continue to support the team. As others have come out and said, we will never accomplish anything as long as Snyder is still here. My hope is that I can outlive Dan Snyder so that one day I can come back to the franchise as a fan that has a new hope if we have new ownership.....

Re: Kirk Cousins 365 thread
It was asked Cutler or Romo.
I say Romo for a couple years then we sign Eli Manning. That way we would have picked up the trash for everyone in our division. Get old shitty McNabb, old injured Romo, and old goofy Manning.

Re: Kirk Cousins 365 thread
If we like 5000 yard passers let's just trade Cousins and draft the guy from Texas Tech then resign Garcon and draft a receiver and TE in the middle rounds.
