Re: Trent Williams holding out for new deal
You are not getting that for a guy who misses 1/4 of the games at his age. One second round pick will be the max.

Re: Trent Williams holding out for new deal
I would take that quickly. I have a feeling a team would part with a 3rd, but a 2nd is going to be more challenging. BA better be on the phones. Trent is not playing for us this year and maybe ever again.

Re: Trent Williams holding out for new deal
Zero chance of getting a 2 for a Trent Williams. Most likely a 3 or 4. I still don’t get why everyone is shocked that he’s still holding out or that he may never play another game for us. He said exactly that 3 months ago. He vowed to never play another game for the Redskins. There was no ambiguity in his statement. The Redskins may not have chose to believe it but the man made it crystal clear in June.

Re: Trent Williams holding out for new deal
Totally. TW is old, injury prone, and one toke from being over the line. No way does a team part with a 1st or 2nd for him. Getting a 3rd would be a miracle. They should get what they can for him and send him on his way.

Re: Trent Williams holding out for new deal
I think a team will pony up a 3rd for him. Maybe not now, but a playoff contender who loses a tackle for the year would consider. A 3rd for him at this point is very fair.

Re: Trent Williams holding out for new deal
If the skins need any more proof of why TW is our MVP, watch the first few drives tonight. Yikes

Re: Trent Williams holding out for new deal
We need him in the OL, badly. Make a quick decision and either pay him the money or trade him. But with BA running this show, this will probably turn into another K. Cousins debacle. He’s one of the few elite players on this team- keep him.

Re: Trent Williams holding out for new deal
None of the starters played on offense or defense (which to me is a big issue). Yet, it would not surprise me if we see something come out of Trent's camp (via their mouthpiece JLC) if the team has a good preseason game.

Re: Trent Williams holding out for new deal
Especially in the 1st series, we had back ups on the online going against f'ing Miles Garrett and Olivier Vernon.

Re: Trent Williams holding out for new deal
I don't get it either. This team hasn't done anything in awhile and they are holding these guys out like they are coming off 3 straight Super Bowls. These team needs to get desperate yet they cruise along like nothing is wrong. Makes no sense.

Re: Trent Williams holding out for new deal
Agreed. Gruden is concerned about injuries after last few years. Can't play scared. These guys need the reps. They need to play at least 1-2 series minimum. All of them.

Re: Trent Williams holding out for new deal
A RB, Duke Johnson from the Browns got traded for a conditional 3rd. I'd think that most likely the best LT would command more. I could see that the holdout gives leverage to the other team, but not if they lose their LT for the season. So, you wait...
