At the trade deadline last season for a first round pick which got the Cavs the first pick in the draft (for taking on his salary) even though it had like a 4% chance of winning.

I don't get what people's fascination with him and the 'Skins was. Cromartie is a gambler, a slightly taller version of D.Hall, and there's no way we need 2 gambling starting cornerbacks on this team. I liked what we had last year with Rogers and Hall, and if Rogers doesn't resign I'll be curious to see how Wilson performs as a starting corner.

Panthers looking at Carlos Rogers. Lions signed Eric Wright, who I would have loved to get here.

Brent Grimes is still a FA...we need to get that kid! I'm sure we can afford him, we have not had a huge blockbuster signing yet.

Too bad Seattle is a 4-3 team, because Lofa Tatupu could b a great addition.

I see why you'd want him, he's young and a talented starting corner, but read Peter Kings Monday Morning QB about the best FA Signings and you'll see that we didn't get a good deal for Josh Wilson, but a Great deal for him. I'm fine with Wilson
Nnamdi Asomugha, Johnathan Joseph among cornerbacks making out well in free agency - Peter King - SI.com

The Niners are looking at Carlos:

"Matt Barrows
The 49ers have shown interest in Redskins FA cornerback Carlos Rogers, one of the few quality FA CBs left, source w/ knowledge says."

Re: 2011 NFL Free Agency-Part 2

Yeah he visited them this weekend. And he was talking to Arizona too.

We're still the favorites to get him. But nothing is certain

Rogers to San Fran is exactly where I thought he'd go. Let's see if he actually does

Curious if anyone will make a bid on Brandon Carr

Re: 2011 NFL Free Agency-Part 2

I just want to know how the Eagles are going to manage having Nnamdi, DRC and Asante Samuel all on their roster. All 3 are starter-caliber but one will have to come off the bench.

Going to be playing a ton of Nickel I guess. I'm guessing Samuel will be the odd man out, but he's too good to sit for too many plays.

He's also too expensive to sit too much.

I thought there were rumors of Asante getting traded. I wonder if it will be a situation where some CB gets injured and they would trade for him.
