Half have been fired or retired in the last few months and the other half are from Carolina last week it is easy to know who those officials are.

In Dan Snyder's defense things have gotten crazy in the twitterverse. I was okay with actual reporters chiming in but now a lot of it is from a guy that knows a guy.

WaPo's not exactly a trustworthy source anymore either. They still have articles up that were proven to be lies.

There is no defense for that wanker. Maybe it wasn’t something criminal - i hope not for the potential victims sakes- but he is trash as an owner. So at the very least i hope it is indefensible action of staff and team under his watch. He would still be forced out at that point.

I’d rather keep Snyder as an owner vs having this team that we’ve all grown up with have anything associated with Epstein. Right now I don’t give the Epstein guess any credibility and I’d feel horrible for DS if this has nothing to do with criminal behavior and is just sex in the office poor management stuff

Agreed 100%.

My real guess is that it's racial-related. WaPo jumps on that kind of thing and it's the current hot topic. Plus, in this current atmosphere and right after the name change...it would be the quickest and easiest way for other owners and the league to finally get rid of Snyder. Consistently on owner votes over the years, it was Snyder and Jerry Jones being the only dissenters. Part of it was because they were the two richest owners so the actions being voted on might have benefited lower-value teams but hurt those two. Remember, before Dallas built their new stadium, the Redskins were the most valuable sports franchise in the world, let alone the NFL. They're both hated bu the other 30 owners in the league.

Perhaps former black players being treated poorly or discriminated against.

The cheerleader thing isn't news or really a bombshell...and likely not specific to our team only.

The Snyder and Gruden sharing a chick is really far fetched,,,and that woman would have HORRIBLE taste in men.

The Epstein guess is likely just someone looking for a shock headline...at least I hope so.

However, any of that probably is possible!

Re: Redskins General 2020 NFL Thread

In 2019 we were down to #14, tied with the Chicago Cubs at $3.1 billion.

14 (tie) | Washington Redskins (NFL)
Value: $3.1 billion
1-Year % Change: 0%
Owner: Daniel Snyder
Operating Income: $122 million

Let's stick to what's gone on in the past:
Cheerleader Scandal
Reporters getting finger blasted
Jay banging everything that moves
Dick picts all around.

Apparently there’s an owner meeting tomorrow. Previously scheduled nothing to do with this. The radio is painting it as an In person meeting with all owners and goddell. But I can’t imagine an in person meeting during covid. Either way, that’s gonna be awkward for an overtly socially uncomfortable owner with no Bruce blanket to cling to.

DS with Epstein seems far fetched to me.

Wouldn't shock me. We really don't know much about Snyder. Anything is possible.

Re: Redskins General 2020 NFL Thread

Yeah I don’t see DS as a bad or immoral person. I think he is a good dude, good intentions, he and his wife with the breast cancer work, players always praise him as a human being even Trent went out of his way.

He should be our loveable awkward dorky fan owner that shadows our own childhood fan memories. In many ways he is one of us. I don’t blame him for trying to make big splashes in FA to sell short term hope for an upcoming season. I do blame him, very severely, for not putting money into the infrastructure of the team. Top notch facilities, hyperbaric tanks, chryo stuff ... a real gm.

He could have been a fan favorite ... but ya gotta win. Good heart and intentions, bad ownership
