Well that's a wrap. Disappointing year overall, but at least it's trending upward from last year. Hopefully we can get to .500 or better next season.

I sure hope they settle this labor agreement sooner than later so next season will not be disrupted.

Just wondering if you been around the Redskin Nation long enough to know anything about this franchise. Then you should know good coaching when you see it compared to Zorn and Spurrier days.

He may be able to run a practice better than Zorn. This year was not good coaching. Just because he was better than Zorn and Spurrier doesn't mean it is good coaching. Those two guys never should have been head coaches period.

I have to agree here. I really didn't see us out coach anyone.

Hey look we all know that this team is very limited with the few talented players we do have on the roster. I like some of our vets ( Moss, Cooley,London, Rogers, and a few others as backups) but we do need to get younger and faster on the D-line. Also we could use a upgrade at the OLB spot for Lorenzo he is a little stiff.

Re: Giants v. Redskins Gameday Thread

Alright enough of the bitching. There are definitely things to look forward to next season:

- Young players like Banks/Armstrong/Torain/K.Williams/A. Bryant, etc.
- A second straight season of the same offense/defense
- Having a competent GM in charge of contracts
- Getting a healthy Landry back

Amid these positive things, there are some big question marks
- QB
- Interior offensive line
- Defensive line
- Kicker/Punter/Long Snapper
- Free Safety

Finally, I would really like to see an end to unnecessary drama (Shanny vs. AH; Shanny vs. McNabb).

- QB- Draft a young one I like Dalton from TCU
- Interior offensive line- Sign Mankins (if possible) and draft a C. Problem solved
- Defensive line- Look to FA and draft
- Kicker/Punter/Long Snapper- keep gano, get new P, see if Sunberg can improve his 2nd year.
- Free Safety- Look to FA or draft for upgrade, maybe even look at Barnes.

Nice to see some of the yonger guys playing. But to be honest, when you stack them up against the talent in our division they simply don't match up. Love the return game w/ Banks, he's a keeper for teams. Torain is good. Armstrong is a nice 3rd wr but he isn't as good as Philly's wr's, or anyone on Dallas or the Giants wr's. This team is full of complementary type players.

Good point. But I would like to see some of these players against those tough opponents with now a year under their belt and with more opportunities. I do think there will be a better FA pool to improve in some areas, and hopefully we can get some talent in the draft as well.

I like our young WR corps- Austin, Armstrong and Banks. I think Armstrong and Austin will get better next year. At the moment, I compare Armstrong to a poor man's Gary Clark with lots of future potential. Austin could be our Ricky Sanders, we just need a Monk.

One thing thats been overlooked this year is the coaching of McCardell. Armstrong and Austin are developing nicely. Not to mention two 800 yard guys and a 1,000 receiver. Davis also had a nice year as a number two Tight End with 300 yards.
