I thought about Everett as well. But once he got up, I was ok with it--if someone had to be knocked silly, it might as well have been Dawkins.

How about the announce crew just coming right out and calling Lloyd a high-priced bust, and "mostly invisible"... guess they aren't buying his albums either.

It's not Brandon's fault, he can't handle the "exotic blitzes".

I wouldn't go so far as to call it the upset of the season. They Eagles aren't looking too hot right now. Now if we beat the Patriots, then I will call that a potential upset of the season, for us atleast.

Rocky's looking All Pro. Fantastic development; and now the Skins are starting to learn how to use Sellers and ARE.

I wish now they'd give Wilson more of a shot.

As great as I think our linebackers are and safeties are, I doubt they'll be enough. The CB's need to get better. Too many completed passes tonight and there would have been more had McNabb not been throwing one bad pass after the other for three quarters and then missed an open receiver at the goal line in the last quarter.

Re: Official Game Thread: Redskins at Eagles

I gotta agree about Dawkins. He is one of the players I most respect on the Eagles because he's a veteran locker room leader who lets his play on the field do the talking, and he's not one of those guys that just dismisses the Redskins like we're nothing. I wish him good luck and I hope he's not seriously injured.

Re: Official Game Thread: Redskins at Eagles

It is all about the exotic blitzes. But a great win for us. Campbell looked poised and calm after that pick. Only thing was that throw to Moss going deep and he over threw him, that was the game clincher.

Shameless self-promotion. It is what it is.

Re: Official Game Thread: Redskins at Eagles

Without scouring the gazillion posts on this thread to confirm, can someone tell me if they saw what I saw last night: Did it look as if Clinton Portis was preparing to throw the ball on what originally looked something like a screen play? Of course the play got stuffed and he didn't pass it, but it sure looked like he was slowing down and looking downfield for an open receiver.

Yeah, he was going to pass it, but pulled it down and ran instead.
