New season, same Redskins. This is why I like the offseason.

Dallas scored 34 earlier, Philly scored 38. NYG are going to get damn near 30 against us... and we'll be lucky to get 17. Kinda says it all.

Look at the opponents...Dallas played a TB team that is nowhere near the caliber of their teams in the past, especially on D. Philly played a horrible Carolina team whose QB had 5 TOs personally...if they can't score points with those gifts, they're hopeless.

We played a team with the BEST D-line in the NFL. We held their offense to 17 points.

I don't see things in your unrealistic way.

I guess next possession Zorn will just run the ball until there's 2 minutes left.

5 yards this quarter. Has got to be the worst Offensive performance of the day.

Just wait, this is only the beginning of a piss poor season. I guess all who wanted the season to start including me, wish it was already over. Then we could see how piss poor the skins will draft again and how many picks we can give away.

What's really sad is that now Zorn has to pass. People have to make plays. And that's pretty much how we play ball. Five yards in a quarter is unacceptable.

Well, they marched down and iced it. Oh, well.

Tough game. I hate the gints. I hate giant stadium. I really do.

Now we're going to have to endure a week of Anti-campbell, anti-zorn screeching.

I thought we would play a little better on defense than we did today. Our offense still seems to be a work in progress.

Re: Redskins vs. Giants Gameday thread, Opener 2009

I'm not sure who is more to blame - Zorn or Campbell. Is the playcalling vanilla b/c of lack of faith in the qb? Is Campbell's confidence done b/c of the playcalling?

Either way, I believe their future really is intertwined. We're going to have to right this ship before St. Louis comes to town. Thankfully, the season started much similarly last year. And then we reeled off a string of wins. But this offense is not giving me any confidence. At least the line is looking good.

you have to blame both zorn and campbell on this one. neither of them know how to run an offense.
