I know we all grew up loving the name Redskins. Imagine if our name was always something else, anything else, and they were going to change it. And on 2/2 they revealed the name Redskins? You never heard the name before and they dropped that on us. I feel like there would be a collective wtf on here. Lol.

This has nothing to do with pc. Just curious how great we would think the name is.

If the name is not Commanders I will be amazed by the FO's ability to keep it under wraps. That is the only name out there at this point. I think Admirals was their weak attempt at misdirection and it didn't go anywhere.

If it is Commanders I will forever link Napoleon Snyder to it and the mental image of a short little egotistical man who fucked things up royally.

The new uniforms and logo can help ease some pain from the new name. I don't even think it's that bad honestly, but maybe since I've thought Commanders was going to be the name for a while now I've just gotten a little used to it already.
