What kind of changes? I know most of the scouting dept. stayed intact. Should we expect changes there this offseason? Maybe there were just too many things on Allen & Shan's to-do list?

Bringing one or two of the Goodmans in to replace Brown and/or Campbell. Replacing several scouts.

Re: Redskins vs Bucs GameDay Thread

If you had told me before the game McNabb throws 2 TDs and 0 picks, Torain runs for 172, and our D holds their running game in check, I would have thought definitely a win for the Skins. Just so frustrating how it seems at least one phase of the game holds us back on a weekly basis.

Exactly what I've been thinking lately. I mean we find new insane ways to lose each week.

True, but this game was about more lost opportunities than just the kicking game. The end of half clock mismanagement really gave the bucs hope, we score a td there & it's maybe a different game. In general the red zone O wasn't sharp. Both td's were on 4th downs, which they deserve a lot of credit for, but it shows we had trouble there too.

I also don't like to criticize db's for being in position to make plays, but usually Hall makes that pick in the 1st quarter & has 6. Fletcher also dropped one.

The announcers said we mismanged the clock but we got to run our three plays and try for the FG so waht was actually mismanaged? It didn't look that smooth but we had plenty of time.

Didnt we get a delay of game penalty coming out of a time out? It was a complete f*ck up by mcnabb and shanny.

You are correct they did get a delay of game but as far as the game clock we had planty of time to run our plays. The announcers acted like we ran out of time and had to go for the FG with downs left because of the clock.

1) They let the time wind down way too far before calling the timeout

2) got a delay of game after the TO which moved the ball back

3) Didn't williams get out of bounds on his 3rd down run? if he hadn't then the fg unit has to rush out, i.e. they almost created a potential rushed scenario which was totally uncecessary. I know they want to keep the other team from having time, but make sure you give yourself a chance to score first.

They were one in the same basically. We left an easy 7 points out there on teams alone.

Not to have gotten more from Torain's best day as a pro performance is a little disheartening. Not being able to finish drives is the chief culprit.

A high pick to me just reminds me of how much we stink, I'd rather be winning games to finish on a high note.

Re: Redskins vs Bucs GameDay Thread

Loss probably would have been easier to swallow if we hadn't had such a strong drive to pull within one point at the end of the game
