they knew the 2 were gonna do it as a duet and knew there was a pretty decent chance given recent past, that the 2 would destroy the national anthem.

The SNL sketch was WAY BETTER than the real thing--the guy who does Neville is great. They should just have SNL do the half time show so we all realize it SUPPOSED to be funny!

This Halftime Show was awfull but the worst in my book was last year Paul McCarty man that 1 blew by far since the incident of janet (wich also sucked) the nfl is going purist to the extreme next year we're going to have the NY Choir it sucks big time.

The last time I saw a good half time was 2001 with U2 the others sucks even the commercial u used 2 sit the whole game without moving becasue everything was amazing now its average at best

I thought Paul McCarty did a great half time show. you are about the only person I've heard who did not like his show. Now if you do not like his music I could understand why you thought it was not a very good.I thought Kiss was a good half time show when they where just starting to tour again and their music was making a little come back.

i didn't like the paul Mccartney halftime show either, but i really don't like the beatles or his solo stuff so it shouldn't be a big surprise

I'm just really sorry the stones rigged the superbowl and that holmgren got so focused on kicking babies he lost interest in playcalling at the halfs.

My favorite halftime of all time (even though the guy is a psycho now), was the Micheal Jackson one for the Bills/Cowboys Super Bowl in Pasedena. That rocked! The one from the Giants/Ravens S.B. with Nsync, Nelly, Brintey and Aerosmith was pretty hot too.
