Re: SGG's Pick the President Poll
Not that the dems don't suck either, but I go with the lesser of the two evils.

Re: SGG's Pick the President Poll
I'd choose McCain from this list. I can't see either Clinton or Obama winning because this country at the moment (unfortunately) is too closed minded to vote for either a woman or an African American. Giuliani doesn't do it for me, neither does Romney.
However, Fred Thompson is the dark horse in all of this. The average, politically uninformed American is going to recognize him and automatically associate with him.

Re: SGG's Pick the President Poll
I don't mind women holding positions of power, but the fact that that particular woman is a viable candidate for the presidency makes me lose faith in the American public. If there was no Bill Clinton, Hillary wouldn't even have come close to becoming the mayor of New York, much less the presidency.

Re: SGG's Pick the President Poll
When did Hillary become mayor of New York?
I thought there'd be more votes for Mitt

Romney puts Kerry to shame when it comes to flip-flopping.

Re: SGG's Pick the President Poll
He wants us out of Iraq, and wants us to give up our self-appointed role of policeman of the world.
Ron Paul favors a non-interventionist foreign policy -- and though he's not doing very well in the polls, I'd bet that most Americans are getting sick of the idea of throwing billions of dollars in foreign aid to countries that hate us, and getting American troops killed overthrowing dictators when it should be the job of those who are oppressed. |
