Re: GMScud Presents 12thMan's "Who Goes Next?" Poll
Wow! Now that's a bit of a stunner. You see both of them of them going. That would be interesting.

Re: GMScud Presents 12thMan's "Who Goes Next?" Poll
I agree 100%. Montgomery and Demetric Evans are going to have to step up. Obviously Cooley is HUGELY important to the success of the team. Fortunately guys like Lorenzo Alexander are stepping up, making Wynn more expendable. I can't see Phillip Daniels on this team past this year either. I wonder if Alex Buzbee will make it...

I think Salave'a might be cut before the 53 man roster is complete. I haven't seen nor heard anything about him during training camp or preseason. I haven't even seen him play during the preseason, plus he's not injured or anything.

He played Saturday night. He didn't look bad at all, actually.

Re: GMScud Presents 12thMan's "Who Goes Next?" Poll
I guess I just didn't see him then lol. It's safe to assume Griffin, Golston, and Montgomery will probably make the final roster, so unless one of the younger training camp hopefuls plays better than Salave'a he'll probably make the cut.

Re: GMScud Presents 12thMan's "Who Goes Next?" Poll
Why would anyone want Blaylock in place of Rock? Rock is a proven solid special teamer and a proven good back up for Betts and Portis. He also knows the offense and brings cohesion to the locker room.
Blaylock is new to the team and hasnt done anything so far in the preseason. If its not broke dont fix, right? |

Re: GMScud Presents 12thMan's "Who Goes Next?" Poll
I thought initially that Blaylock would be a lock (no pun intended), but now I think Mason has to be given a serious look. He can play teams & maybe return kicks, could take Rock's job, but I hope we could keep both.

Re: GMScud Presents 12thMan's "Who Goes Next?" Poll
I voted for Daniels, I mean he really hasn't been a big contribution to the team these past couple years, not to mention I don't think he has been 100% for a few years.

Deep down I don't think there's any chance that BOTH of them go, I just think we'll have at least one more surprising cut.

Re: GMScud Presents 12thMan's "Who Goes Next?" Poll
thanks SS, I voted Joe S. & I also thought early in the offseason that he would be a potential cut.
Take no pleasure in it though, he seemed a good guy & liked being in DC. Good Luck Big Joe & hopefully you'll land back here & get a ring in B&G! |

Re: GMScud Presents 12thMan's "Who Goes Next?" Poll
I dont think Ade is outta the woods yet.
He's great on teams but hes no 4th corner... He's a special teamer. I see him as 50/50 at this point. I'd watch and see if they cant get similar special teams production from another gunner...I'd watch who his backup is on punt teams.
