Re: JLC: Reche Caldwell is in the Building

I always wondered why Caldwell had that deer in the headlights look. Like he is scared or something. Wonder who they are bringing in....

A former Charger WR sounds good to me!! Welcome aboard Mr. Caldwell, maybe you can give us the threat that Lloyd never was or probably never will be!!!!!!!!

Well if this isnt a wakeup call to Lloyd then i dont know what is... this screams 'your job is on the line' what do you think the chances of him actually becoming productive over the next few weeks are?

Good move--I think they were after RC for a while and waited til after the first game to avoid certain roster restrictions (JLac had something like that in the Post).

So we let Mason go and we put Jansen on IR--we still have a roster spot, no?

Wonder where it will go? Safeties are very hard to find right now--they are dropping like flies all over the league. Another O-lineman?

I really hope this means Lloyd is 6 on depth now and is gone in the offseason. He should thank Snyder for the handout and retire. THe pick JC threw next to Lloyd was very similar to the TD he threw to ARE in Preseason. Difference? ARE wants to score and win, Lloyd just wants the paycheck.

Does anyone think Caldwell could actually contribute this year? Look how long it has taken the rest of the team to grasp the playbook. I can't see him coming in and contributing much at all. Look at Deion Branch last year.

Re: JLC: Redskins Sign WR Reche Caldwell

why are the Redskins still adding wideouts that are not worth shi*. I was watching that Miami game a little Sunday as I kept falling asleep because it was so boring and saw when Jansen went down. I knew he was gone for the season instantly. Why not pick up some depth there. Geez the skins management is so dumb. Way worse then the Cowboys management for not picking up D Darius at safety and having a team filled with DE on defense. I see it now skins are gonna trade away there draft picks again. I love it.

Thrash and Lloyd for Spears and someone else? Like who, their water boy? Give me a break the chances of us trading away Lloyd with his contract and Thrash, with him being Thrash are nil. I wouldn't be surprised though if the Cowboys did try to make a trade with someone because I don't think they have anyone on that team besides T.O. who can be considered a starter.

The more presiing problem for them is to find a nosetackle. Kind of key in a 3-4 setup. I'm sure they will be fine since Wade Phillips is a lot better than Bill Parcells and knows how to use the talent to its full potential down there.

They should have just made Garret the Head Coach and let Roy Williams call his own defenses. He probably is at least aware of how bad he is in coverage.

Adding a wideout really kills us. We're bringing in competition, which is a good thing. How are we losing anything? Nice... real nice.

Why not pick up depth there at tackle?

Did you see any sacks after he went down? Did we not gain 191 yards on the ground? Did the rookie that filled in, who will be back-up tackle against the eagles, play a flawless game?

Make sense, or go home. You're not welcome here if your going to just blab off some BS...

Your ridiculous, making an already tarnished fan base look even worse.

Didn't you read it was too boring for me too watch.

Try the whole season with a rookie and you will get rookie results.

Adding WR just does not make any sense that all. Washington goes out Gets Lloyd and Randel El cut Patten picks Thrash up and now picks up Reche. Yall are not good at throwing the ball in the first place why keep adding WR.

If you were too bored to watch, then your too ignorant to comment on. So do everyone a favor and don't. Go blab off some homer comments to some other homer cowboys board.

We don't have to try a season with a rookie, because a rookie filled in for Jansen against Miami. His back-up (who didn't play against Miami because he was nursing an injury) is proven tackle Todd Wade, who some even consider an upgrade over aging Jansen.

So we'll have rookie Stephon Heyer (who filled in flawlessly against Miami), backing up proven veteran Todd Wade. That's depth more than most teams in the NFL.

Adding another teams former #1 WR to challenge an unproductive Lloyd (a #3 receiver) right now makes all the sense in the world. I personally think it's a great signing.

Oh, and like I said before, make sense... or go home. No one wants to here you whine about something that you don't know what your talking about.

Not only that, what about depth for the Cowboys? You neglected to mention their depth. At least the Skins aren't super worried because they have not just ONE, but TWO capable backups.

What happens if the Cowboys have ANYONE on the OL go down? Who's their backup that's going to step in and not miss a beat? I'd love to know...
