Latest from WP washingtonpost.com
, if Saunders days are numbered Cam Cameron should be hired as the OC.

Nice to at least hear Don & Buges are interested in sticking around! That would be great to keep both these coach's on board.

I would have to pass on Cam. For what reason would you want him in DC to run the offense if Al were to get fired?

I would like to think we could keep Al around one more year. If not and Greg gets the job which I believe he will, he will bring in one of his guys if he can't work with Al for the final year of his contract.

Al Saunders was at the Wizards game (big win over the Celtics!) tonight, for what it's worth.

Anyhow, yeah it will be really interesting to see what happens on the offensive side of the ball. Either way I don't see Cameron here. He'll probably be Marty's OC if Schott takes the Ravens' HC job.

That's gonna hurt cause I don't see any good OC candidates around. Maybe that's why they went to see Fassell, I don't like him plus that a West Coast Offense.

Re: ESPN: Redskins to Interview G. Williams Today

do you thinks Gibbs (being snyders new advisor) will have a say in who williams or whoever the coach ends up being, can hire as their coaches and who he has to keep in the coaching staff? I give williams full power to chose his coaches and his staff. what do you guys think???

That's where I wouldn't mind having Russ Grimm.

Well it looks like we'll be able to interview Caldwell or Meeks fairly soon, now that the Colts have lost

Re: ESPN: Redskins to Interview G. Williams Today

Just heard on the pre-game show that Gregg Williams is going in for a second interview tomorrow. I say he's named the new Washington head coach by Tuesday, Wednesday at the latest.

Let's hope. I'm anxious to get moving on the next era. Make the pain of the most recent one ending go away sooner I think

I wouldn't have thought any interest in Fassel, who knows what they were doing out there or who they MIGHT have interviewed if anyone? I'm sure we'll find out pretty soon.

Right after we sign our new head coach GW tomorrow (HOPEFULLY)! Be nice to move on to the next chapter and stop the wondering, and also put an end to some of these goofy names coming up as our potential next head coach.

Yeah, I was routing for the Chargers for that reason, and I am glad we'll be able to move forward. Hopefully this will all be squared away by mid-week. But you never know, and I have a feeling this process could drag on for quite awhile. I just hope the decision is made soon enough that personnel decisions can be done in time to move forward without a hitch.

Re: ESPN: Redskins to Interview G. Williams Today

So Meeks and Caldwell get interviewed Monday and GW is hired Wednesday. We get the HC that we and the players want and the new era can begin. I disagree with those who say that bringing in an interview to just comply with the Rooney Rule is stringing them along. Part of the reason why the same guys get the HC jobs is because they know how to interview well because they've been interviewed often. Sometimes just gaining the experience of the interview process can help someone can a job later (think Grimm would be a HC if he had interviewed better? I do.).
