Re: My worst Fear: V Cerrato Running the Redskins

why does cerrato get blamed for all this?

It is a known fact that Cerrato was adamantly opposed to archuletta, but grilliams wanted him and Gibbs wanted to make Williams happy. MB was 100% Gibbs decision. The portis-bailey trade was also 100% gibbs (and how quickly we forget that champ bailey wanted out of DC and there was no way we could get him to stay). gibbs wanted a running back and portis was the flashiest guy around.

The problem with the skins the past few years is Snyders idol worship of Gibbs, coupled with Gibbs having power he never had before. Gibbs was thrilled by the excitement of player acquisitions and was like a kid in toystore. Snyder and Cerrato were like the parents that couldnt say no to Gibbs and gave him whatever he wanted.

Now that Gibbs is gone and Cerrato is in charge, i fully expect us to do MUCH better in the acquisition of players through FA and the draft.
