Roy Williams continues to make Pro Bowls on reputation too
agreed!i think he makes the pro bowl cause all the cowboys fans vote numerous times for him,and all the other a$$hole cowboys!satan owns the team,so i'm sure he helps out too. |

No.
Leave Lynch alone. Our Safety competition is already crowded, so why bring in a veteran, on the downside of his career, to take a spot away from a younger & more athletic player that needs to be groomed? No thanks. Congrats on a good career Lynch, but NO SOUP FOR YOU!!

Are you for real? Denver was 5th WORST in points allowed and 3rd down pct. They were 11th WORST in yards per play and 1st downs per game. Overall they were just below middle of the pack 19th, but that is based on 7th in pass (read Champ Bailey and Dre Bly) and 30th in run defense. Lynch was a sieve.

Why would we bring a Safety who can't do a good job in coverage? There's a reason why Lynch wasn't practicing with the Nickel and Dime packages, because he has lost a step and can't cover. The only way we could justify bringing him, is if he would be willing to play LB (like what Philly was trying to do with Michael Lewis). Then again, if you want a LB, you can go after Takeo Spikes or Godfrey.

I don't think we should get him. If he was younger I might want him but we need to give
Doughty a chance. And with Horton's performance last night that gives us a little bit of depth. So from me it's a know.

I say yes if for the vet minnimum. Doughty tackled well early on but missed horribly on the Clark move towards the sideline (IND FG) and afterwards. Schweigert looked slow to react in what looked like a IND-flooded cover-2 zone which he gave up a TD. Horton may be given a shot with the starting D if this continues.

Doughty was not impressive Sunday night but Lynch will bring back memories of Adam Archuletta. He's lost a few steps. Maybe more than a few. Plus we have no cap space for him. Our Tackles are dropping, I'd rather invest in an OT.

Not really in favor of signing Lynch, however releasing Schweigert opens up that possibility.
