what really pisses me off about this is the fact that irvin was voted into the HOF before any of this shit got out.players cheating on their wives and doing dope some is bad,but not as bad as doing that 24/7 during the season,stabbing a teammate,and then have the owner covering the whole thing up.that's not to mention the withdrawals he had to be undergoing during the game.if that happened during a game,he could have easily died himself.the league needs to investigate this as much or more than they did all that bullshit last year with the pats cheating.makes me hate dallas ever worse than i ever did,even in the george allen era....

emmmitt smith or troy aikman never did anything like this.michael irvin is'nt anything but a thug,plain and simple.he still can't get away from his criminal self.why do you think espn let him go?he should be sitting his punk ass in a jail cell right beside nate newton.
every cowboy fan i know would think exactly like me when it comes to this.and if a member of the redskins ever did something like this,i'd be saying the same thing about him.but i have yet to hear about a redskin slitting a teammates throat,and getting management to cover it up.

I would agree. I mean honestly I've been so busy the last couple of days I have no idea what the media is talking about. But if you haven't heard much about it or can find links easily then that should say that it's probably not getting that much attention.

The book is called "Boys Will Be Boys" by Jeff Pearlman, and it tells the inside story of the Dallas Cowboys championship teams of the early '90's. Kissing Suzy Kolber lists some of the highlights:

* Michael Irvin once wanted his haircut by the team barber. When Everett McIver wouldn't get out of the chair, Irvin did what any reasonable teammate would do, yelled “Seniority! Seniority! Seniority! Punk, get the fuck out of my chair!” and stabbed McIver in the neck with scissors.
* Irvin bankrolled a 'Boys charity basketball team called the Hoopsters as an excuse to get guys away from their wives and onto a private jet where they'd bang women of Irvin's choosing.
* Haley (who I once heard Fred Smerlas describe as the most despicable person and filthiest racist he's ever met) once bugged Scott Case in a meeting by saying “Scott, turn around, I gotta show you something… Scott, dammit, turn around! You need to see this!” and when Case turned around, Haley had slung his massive penis across his desk.
* Haley cut a hole in the roof of Tim Haris' BMW and peed in it.
* At another meeting, Haley came out of the bathroom, dropped his pants, wiped his ass and threw the crappy toilet paper at his LB coach.
* The Cowboys held position meetings in strip joints and they gave specific instructions to American Airlines that they only be assigned hot stewardi.

I just got done reading this book. It's great for anyone needing more reasons to hate anything with a star on its helmet. (As if anyone did...) Emmit Smith was as much of a douchebag as I always thought he was.

No real highlights, other than Smith feeling that JJ was racist in giving the big contract to Aikman right away but Smith having to hold out for it. Also, his teammates all thought he was a huge Me, Me, Me guy.

$25 and it's a fairly quick read. There's a whole lot in there that will have you shaking your head.

i hope it's better than conseco's 1st book.i read that in a day at the book store.i'll wait for the tv movie.

LL has gotten alot of bad pub.

that sob deserves every bit of it too!!! not only did he drive drunk and kill somebody,he has done it again since then.i'm all for 2nd chances,but i draw the line on 3rd and 4th chances.what vick did was bad,what this asshole has done makes what vick did look downright beautiful.leonard little should at the very least not be making millions of dollars a year in the nfl.
