2009 Starters
LT: Samuels
LG: Dockery
C: Rabach
RG: Thomas
RT: Andre Smith (worth the risk if he's there at 13)

2009 Backups
Heyer - T
Jansen - G, T
Rinehart - G
Geisinger - C

2010 Starters
LT: Smith
LG: Dockery
C: Geisinger/UFA/Draft Pick
RG: Rinehart/UFA/Draft Pick
RT: Samuels
Good stuff BHA... it would be nice to get Brown in to replace Rabach this year but that's asking a lot.

I haven't looked at the numbers but I might let Thomas walk. Kendall isn't going to be in high demand so I'd keep him around as a relatively cheap backup. Thomas worries me, coming off major neck and back surgery.

But if we bring in Dockery to be our LG again, and then let's say draft Oher put him at RT and maybe slide Jansen inside? or Smith and keep Jansen outside?

Either way, the Redskins have the upper hand here. They let Dockery walk for big, big money...and now he's the one out of a job.

Interest would be GREAT!
I just don't want it to be attached to a ride in "Redskin 1" and an $88m check

Great news to hear the team wants Dockery back. I hope he's on Redskins One in the am.

Before or after it makes a stop in Nashville?

For once a resounding yes.

Alright heres the plan.

FA: Chris Cantry DE/DT, Derrick Dockery LG, Andre Smith Draft, 3rd round OLB.

What? No, we're suppose to agree with each other all the time. This isn't a debate site.

What? He was offered a chance for financial security and took it. You're telling me that if you weren't in his position you wouldn't take the money. On top of that teams are suppose to develop talent in order to win, it's not like we got nothing out of him. Hell theres a reason so many people here want him back.

Re: Dockery Cut:

I like to see him back and I think it helps when guys go else where for the big money then find themself out of a job it makes what they had look that much better. So if we do sign hime I guess we will here the same stuff. I should not have chased the money, I wasn't really happy playing there, I really missed the fans, I know there are some more standard lines that I'm missing.

Re: Dockery Cut:

I think this Dockery news suddenly puts Hall on the backburner, though they'd still like to keep him of course.

I mentioned it in the Hall thread, but im starting to cool off on Hall. I really think he's going to command a larger contract than he's worth (and thats coming from someone who most of you think highly over-values Hall).

There are plenty of young corners available who may not have the playmaking ability that Hall has, but who have good coverage skills and who could be had at a lower price.

If I had to make a choice between signing Hall or signing Dockery and someone like Buchannon, then its not even a choice - "Bye Bye, Hall. Enjoy wearing that ugly 50th anniversary logo on your helmet."

Now that he has lost your vote, I am sure Vinny will have him signed tonight

LOL, ESPN980 just reported the Pats are going to pursue Hall, as i speculated. If the moneys comparable, i dont know why Hall would sign with us instead.

Because we're his favorite team and he wants to be here.

What did they say exactly? Did they just repeat The Boston Globe's speculation that Hall might be a free agent they could consider?
