I like Hall but I also think that he was overpaid. Hall could ensure that he is worth the money by teaching Carlos Rogers how to catch the football.

Carlos is a brilliant cover guy but I just hope he has someone throwing him a ball about a zillion times this offseason. If Carlos would learn to catch he'd be a Pro Bowler.

As for Springs, he's an outstanding CB but he's only good for 8 games. That's because he'll miss half the season when he is injured by a feather falling in his vicinity, or something like that. Say what you want about Smoot, but he'll play hurt.

Re: State of the Redskins - NFL Network Videos

You know during the season we complain and complain because Carlos can't catch interceptions that could change games. We have complained that Springs gets hurt and that we need to get a corner to take over because we can't rely on him but so long. Now Deangelo Hall comes in and starts catching picks. We bring him in midseason and he plays, well. For a contract ? Yes, who isn't playing for a contract when you don't have one for the next season ? He gets a new deal and all of a sudden he's not worth the money. We should've picked up Leigh Bodden and kept Springs ? Can I please meet your "guy" because what I'm smoking in my Backwoods is UTTER GARBAGE compared to yours !

I swear if we went into the draft with Bodden and Springs the same shit would be said about them. We should've kept Hall ! Bodden ? OMG Vinny must be insane.

You know what, **** the money, is he a starting corner ? Is he better than Smoot ? Carlos ? YES ! How about we stop being so pessimistic when it comes to the Skins. I'm not saying to follow Vinny with balloons and drums and stuff but I mean seriously. We praise just about EVERY deal that any team that does not play in Landover makes but if the Skins went out and got Peyton Manning overnight for a F'n Honey Bun we would find a way to bitch about it.

Come on guys, the sky isn't always falling.

Carlos Rogers is a better cover corner than Hall(I dread next year's game with Denver. He was torched by Eddie Royal. However, the coaching staff is good, so that's something to alleviate my worry). The only thing hindering him from elite status is catching the ball. However, he's woken up and very luckily learned a lot(i.e film study. That dropped pick from the Steelers game? He recognized the defense from the film study of Pitt and jumped the route) from Springs before Springs went bye-bye this year.

Re: State of the Redskins - NFL Network Videos

My thoughts, I think that we diffinetly overpaid for hall, but as for the rumor of us being the only team that was willing to signhall, that's bs because NE was ready to fly him in, I think the FO knew this so they overreacted and to pay him right then and there...
Another thought, we need to draft oline at 13 or trade down and then draft defense at that pick...it's not question that our offense struggled because Campbell couldn't hold onto the ball for more than a second...
The next reason why our team blew was because our great, somehow ranked 4th, defense couldn't sack a QB, sure we sorta fixed that with haynesworth, but does renaldo wynn really scare an offense line coming off the edge?? Vanden bosh could get to the QB consistently and kearse occasionally...we have a kearse in carter but we. Red a vanden bosh...

I feel like whenever I hear a national show talking about the Redskins they are reading it right out of the media manual on discussing the Redskins. I don't think I ever learn anything new..yet I always watch to hear what they will say.
