At least we're not the only stupid team in the NFL. Just the stupidest.

Re: Panthers Extend Quarterback who Isn't as Good as Jason Campbell
Campbell is NOT better than Delhomme. No way...at least not yet. I think he could be with a little more experience though.
Delhomme is 50-31 in his career, and only 1 time did he lose more in a season than he won. He's had 3 10+ win seasons in 5 full seasons. (well one was a 13 game season, but full enough) He ranks 22nd on the ALL TIME list in passer rating at 85.1! He's 5-3 in the playoffs, and his playoff qb rating is higher than campbell's regular season rating, even after that 39.1 rating disaster last year. People look at last year as a measuring stick, but keep in mind 3 things, 1- he came back EARLY from Tommy John surgery. 2- 7 of his ints came in two games, complete meltdowns. 3- Even under-performing last year after a career threatening injury, he was still better, albeit slightly, than Campbell. Delhomme will have a great year this year. Maybe not a career high in 3886 yards, and maybe not a career high in tds at 29, but likely a 3600+ yard season and 25+ td season. That is pretty darn good if you ask me. I HOPE and PRAY that Campbell turns into that.
