I know all teams have players that demand a trade, some have a better arguement than others. However, guys are under contract making a few milllion, life cut be worse.

Re: Campbell will ask for trade if Redskins draft a QB
nothing surprising, but it still sucks.
The good thing is that JC is a pro & if he's here he'll do his best. Still, this is just reported evidence that all this cutler/dirty sanchez talk has gotten to him. I don't think that bodes well for the team overall in the short term no matter how this shakes out over time. |

The real reason Joe Gibbs left was Dan Snyder he's an idiot.

Re: Campbell will ask for trade if Redskins draft a QB
Bingo!! This whole fiasco is a cluster ****. Why treat a classy, up and coming QB like dirt instead of giving a second season in a different offensive system. If this is true that Campbell has been offered as trade bait and they really draft Sanchez, then Snyder and VC are true ****ing idiots!!

I'm used to drinking myself into oblivion.. I will when we draft Sanchez, I will when we send JC down the road, and I will continue it seems as long as Danny continues to stick his schnozz into football buisiness... BOTTOMS UP FELLAS,TO ANOTHER BANNER 10 YEARS!

If we really draft Sanchez, I'll be highly disappointed, and in my opinion JC will be within his right to leave the organization. I honestly believe that if he leaves, we'll be in rebuilding mode all over again.

Without a doubt Sanchez equals rebuilding.

Re: Campbell will ask for trade if Redskins draft a QB
Don't blame Jason if he wants to leave especially after the way the Skins and Snyder have handled things.
As long as Snyder and Cerrato are at the helm I see them pulling this crap every 3-4 years just because they can. At some point no one will want to go (unless all they want is the big bucks) and stay with our franchise. We are like mice on a wheel we just keep going round and round and ending up nowhere! |

Re: Campbell will ask for trade if Redskins draft a QB
You could say we've been in rebuilding mode the second Snyder kicked Williams/Saunders to the curb after 2+ years of moving this team in that direction. Luckily we've not seen regression on defense, but the offense was tore to pieces last year. Whatever we built between then and now will be gone as soon as Sanchez takes the reins.

Re: Campbell will ask for trade if Redskins draft a QB
How can anyone with an unbiased mind blame Campbell for demanding a trade? I hate me first, needy players. Campbell has been anything but and his entire tenure here has been one of upheaval. I'm happy to see him finally shooting back, after getting embarrassed this entire offseason. Nothing to do now but wish him the best.

Maybe they're planning to convert Snachez to outside linebacker or defensive end. Otherwise, this is the stupidest shit of the Snyder era.

Re: Campbell will ask for trade if Redskins draft a QB
This doesn't make sense to me? I understand that JC would want a trade. He'd be wasting his time if he didn't. This is a business.
Here's my questions. If we do get Sanchez then who starts? You'll have two guys who haven't thrown a snap in a REAL game and Collins. Who wins? If you mortgage your future for a pick then he has to start right? What happens when he does? You're going to start a guy you just drafted over two guys who already know the system, one of which rallied the team to the play-offs by beating Chicago, NY, and Dallas? Danny boy, beware of the Cult of Colt! |
