McNair was a stand up guy. The woman with him was killed also at the apartment complex. I wonder if it was a simple robbery attempt gone bad or a pissed off ex boyfriend.

I think it's pretty clear she killed him and then killed herself. If it turns out to be anything different I'll be surprised.

I think she was attractive, in a black widow sort of way. Certainly worthy of the attention of a pro athlete based on her looks. I guess some of you are watching to much Entourage either that or your looking at the mug shot from her DUI, which actually isn't half bad.
Heres a better idea of what she looked like: Sahel Kazemi The thing I don't get is why do all these athletes promise these girls the world when they're married with children and how can the girls get swept up in this. Isn't it obvious that the same thing could easily happen to you, assuming he leaves his wife? I guess in a case like that they see the money as a nice fall back position in which case they can find true love later.

She was attractive, but not like bombshell hot, plus she was 20. She was obviously unstable and looking for an older guy to take care of her. Steve should have known better that he was playing with fire.

This is an absolute tradegy. I remember Steve McNair or Air McNair when he was quarterback for Alcorn St. Howard University and Alcorn State University played in the 1993 Gateway Classic at Busch Stadium St. Louis. It was an unbelievable shootout between Air McNair and Jay Walker of Howard. Howard won by a field goal 38 - 36 with 1:05 remaining. One of the best college football games I ever saw.

Totally agree with 53 and Matty, this is nothing more than a murder suicide. I'm guessing after that 20 yr old got the DUI on Thursday McNair wanted to break it off because it probably was going to go public and bring him shame, but she still wanted to be with him and that's when she killed him and then herself.
Very sad. I feel for his wife and 4 kids. RIP |

I don't know the guy from Adam but everyone keeps saying he is such a great guy. Last time I checked cheating on your wife is not a great guy. He may have done a lot for others but he let down the people that meant the most, (or at least should have meant the most) his family.

What I am really trying to drive at is not so much McNair but more the fact how as a society we tend to have a blind eye to our "heros" sins (not flaws becasue we all have flaws) because they can throw a football. Who is celebrating the avg. guy/gal who has done a ton of charity work and has been faithful to their family? Nobody or at least not on a public level. Sometimes I watch Extreme Homes and the people they help on there are just quit simply amazing. The things they have over come is amazing. Ok rant off...sorry! =)
