Re: Mosely: Campbell to start

I think the best thing we can hope for is for Campbell to get motivated and be the catalyst for the offense to get going. I believe if Campbell comes out and puts everything out on the line, the whole offense will do the same - including the offensive linemen.

If not, it's going to be more of the same.

Its just not in Campbell's nature to come out and lay it on the line. If it was he'd have done it in game 1 when, based on the off season, he knew where he stood in the organization. For some reason JC plays tight and often takes a half to settle down. Unfortunately in the NFL you cant fritter away a half waiting for your QB to stop being nervous.

Yeah, I don't know what it is about him. There's got to be something that can light a fire under his ass and get him going.

Unless you're a team like the Steelers. Then, you just have gritty and clutch play from the QB position.

Zorn: 'I'm going right back to Campbell'

Jim Zorn officially put the matter of who will be the Redskins' starting quarterback Monday to rest. "I'm going to go right back to Jason Campbell," he said on his radio show on ESPN980.

I'm assuming Zorn won't yank him again if we're getting pummeled by halftime?

Whose decision will it be? Will Lewis be in the locker room at half? Also, if Zorn's spiteful - he could have the attitude "I had to do it with Campbell, you have to do it with Campbell"

Zorn is not calling plays but he does have "veto power".

Jay Gruden = Zorny McSpurrier

Agreed. Zorn doesn't understand his play calling limitations.

Imagine how many timeouts we're going to burn as Lewis may call things wrong, Zorn might be like wtf... etc

I hope Lewis can get over that terminology hurdle quickly if he hasn't already
