Re: McNabb Press Conference Thread

Shanny referencing the fact that Steve Young was in his 11th year in SF when he won a SB with him, and Elway was in his 13th/14th years in Denver....

Having an 8.1 average in a passing offense is pretty damn good if you ask me.

That O was also inconsistent and was addicted to the big play like a man on crack.

Shanahan didn't think that the opportunity for McNabb would happen, happened very quickly, Shanahan himself was surprised but excited.

Re: McNabb Press Conference Thread

Both McNabb and Shanahan mentioned the comparison to Elway/age before SB.. Shanny added Steve Young was 11th season

Re: McNabb Press Conference Thread

McNabb on Philly fans: he felt that he was treated fairly, never heard him complain.. nor media, not his concern, blocks it out, so many distractions in football, if you let it bother you you won't accomplish anything

well he has complained about it before but not often.. I think his complaint that I'm remembering was more of a media thing

Re: McNabb Press Conference Thread

McNabb compares this to being drafted again, having a team that wants you selecting him

Re: McNabb Press Conference Thread

lol.. McNabb mentioning talks with Snyder

"Well, he paid for dinner.. that was nice" and Shanny chimed in "Thank you Dan!"

McNabb said he talked with him on the phone after the trade, they talked about plans for the organization, etc
