The only effort TO made was his agent saying Owens "would very much like the opportunity to play for the Redskins....Terrell would love to play in the NFC East"

I don't think he's said anything about willing to come down from his $4-$5 million demand though.

Regardless, I don't see in any way how signing Galloway and Wade is a slap in the face to Terrell Owens. The two just aren't related in my opinion

I mentioned this on the Galloway thread. TO needs to wake up and realize he is no longer a big dollar NFL WR. It takes two to dance and TO is not willing to play for less. So it not an insult, it is negotiations. Who blinks first? Right now I have to say TO will have to come down with his salary demands if he want to be on a roster when training camps start.

T.O., as much as I like him, has played his last down in the NFL. And thats a damn shame, because his ego overshadows his career accomplishments.

Agreed. Someone will bring him in before or during training camp. Could be us, who knows.

Despite his issues he's still got talent and some gas in the tank.

Maybe the skins aren't happy with the way McCardell is coaching the WR's & Galloway is here to look over his shoulder, I don't think that's the reason but there's a million reasons why i just think it's competition MS is not happy with the current WR's & wants to see if he can motivate them best player make the team/plays.

Keenan and Galloway played together in Tampa didn't they? Maybe it was McCardell himself who pushed for this signing?
