Re: Redskin Wideouts to join McNabb in Arizona for "hell week"

Kudos for guys taking some responsibility and acting like real pros that care about the game of football, as well as their team. Nice to hear about these types of things instead of players ducking their responsibilities, and shirking mini camps. Good job you all. I actually hope MK and DT do a good job this season now, and prove that they are not busts. It seems like with some direction provided by a vocal team LEADER, their work ethic is right where it needs to be.

I heard Haynesworth is going to "hell week" for these extra non-paid workouts to build more team chemistry!

I am glad we are hearing 99% positive this summer (excluding ah is there really any story out there that has been negative? Carlos could become one, but so far it hasn't been that publicized) I just want the training camp to get here!

I just hope it all translates into production. Should be great for everyone involved, especially the younger receivers. I'm growing tired of hearing about what they can't do, it's about time to find out what they can do, hopefully these type workouts will help escalate matters.

Everyone is hyped for the season, new HD Video Boards, $100.00 of my season ticket package and my fan invitation for opening day of training camp. Things are looking up.

Good to see that these guys are getting a head start. McNabb is bringing the leadership that this team needs.

Geez! Everyone knows it's best if your QB practices with HS football players.

^^ LMAO!! Thats great C. Was listening to Sirius today and they mentioned Childress is visiting BF down there right now as he runs 7 on 7 with the highschool.

I thought I had heard that Davis was down in AZ. Although I may be misinformed.

They didn't have to go out West for "hell week". We have had weeks of this pushin down on 100* weather and throw the index in there and bingo "hell weeks" right here in Hampton Roads. July 29 they will be used to this unusual record breaking heat right here on the East Coast.

No RAININ in the Skins' Night Club

f-ing love it. dt grows on me more and more i hope he get's in stride this year and really comes in to his own. i really haven't been this optomistic about the future of this team in a long time

Re: Redskin Wideouts to join McNabb in Arizona for "hell week"

I would have to agree with you. I live in SC and this summer has been brutal. The F'n humidity is through the roof. With a 105 head index and the air as thick as hot fudge syrup I would have to agree it has been hellashish this summer on the east coast.

AZ is hot don't get me wrong. Went out there in June a couple of years ago. It was HOT! But no humidity it is a different kind of heat out there. Dry heat.

I hope the boys stay out of Skinz and out of trouble, nothing like going out there for some good practice but coming back with a DUI.

Re: Redskin Wideouts to join McNabb in Arizona for "hell week"

Q: Could you see the Redskins implementing a two-tight end system where both Fred Davis and Chris Cooley can be on the field at the same time? The Redskins have question marks at receiver, and two tight ends could help the running game and rookie tackle Trent Williams get accustomed to the NFL.

John in Chicago

A: Absolutely. Early reports are that Mike Shanahan really likes Davis, and Cooley is already an established star at tight end. The two-tight-end formation is ideal for the zone running scheme because there is no strong side or weak side to tip off strengths and weaknesses of the blocking scheme. Plus, there are questions about the depth of the Redskins' wide receiving corps. Shanahan has always operated a strong two-tight-end formation. Great point.
