We started chanting it after/during a win the week before we play them. Not really out of place, although premature imo since there were still a few minutes left in the game.

I don't think we come across as obsessed as much as 'games over, enjoy it, but now it's time to whoop some ass.'

just my opinion.

Edit: after the Giants game, yes that's way too much.

No wonder the world is going to shit. God is too busy helping out football players.

He must have money on these games.

As Mr. Fletcher said, "It's the Cowboys and the Redskins...what's not to like?"

We've beat them before, I don't see any reason we can't beat them again. This was the perfect time for a long week. Dallas isn't the only team with injuries. This gives the Shannahan's and Haslett plenty of time to game plan. Romo's ribs are going to be a lot more sore after this game.

Duck Fallas!!! Nice Lotus.

Re: We Want Dallas! 2011 Thread

The Skins didn't play outstanding ball, heck one could say they didn't play outstanding ball in week one. The positive is the team found a way to win both games. In past years the Skins have found a way to shoot themselves in the foot and lose games. Now it appears the Skins are finding ways to win those.

I'd like to add that we have won two games I expected us to win but man they were tough games. I totally expected us to suprise the Giants and win big especially with their injuries, and the Cards I expected a huge win but again it turned out to be a close game. I'm looking at all the teams I thought we could beat easily and have been seeing them play tough; Rams, Panthers, Bills, 49ers, Dolphins, Bucs. I still think we can win them but their gunna be closer then I thought. Colts, Vikes, and Seahawks might be the easiest games on our list now.

I think what we are seeing is a great team that is finding themselves. When they are backed into a corner they are coming out swinging and proving themselves. As the confidence level continues to rise, so will the level of play.

I think it's a lot of nerves and excitement that has caused some of the missed opportunities in the redzone. Grossman needs to keep his composure, settle down and not force any throws in the redzone. I love the read he made to Moss in the endzone.

I also like how our D is disrupting and causing turnovers.

I'm looking forward to playing high caliber teams and seeing us turn it up!

I think we are catching the Cowboys at the best time. With their injuries, I do see the 'skins being the better team, but they're going to have to play mistake free football.

Romo vs. Skins

4 wins, 4 losses

In those games, he completes 63% of his passes, 1887 yards, 13 TDs and 7 INTs, and he's been sacked 8 times.

Skins have not had a 100-yard rusher against the Cowboys since September 28, 2008.

Reports on ESPN right now that Romo not only broke a rib, but punctured his lung, too. And yet he came back in and led them to an OT victory to avoid an 0-2 start. I don't like Tony Romo or the Cowboys, but I respect him a lot more because of this.

Re: We Want Dallas! 2011 Thread

I imagine Dez Bryant will play, he nearly played this week. I am reminded of Star Trek II when Kahn says of the Enterprise, "Not nearly as wounded as we were led to believe"

This is a division game, division rivalry and their home opener. Any player that can go will, and they will not let this game get away from them. I fear that TR's playing injured will spark something that they haven't had in a long time, which is gutsy gritty play.

We will have to see if the Skins deserve to be 3-0, or are just putting on a good act.
