I'm still baffled about the 3rd and 22 call. What was Haslett thinking?

The way things were going, we could have rushed 2, had 9 guys in coverage, and Romo still would have found his guy for the 1st down -- sometimes it just isn't meant to be. We could have seen that coming with the way every single botched snap was recovered cleanly by them. If it was the other way around, we'd have lost at least half of those snaps.

Seriously, F D. Hall. Guy played poorly tonight... and ya know, I'm ok with other guys who played poorly, but if you're gonna talk ****, back it up. If not, keep your mouth shut. This is why I HATE when the Skins open their mouths (which they rarely do outside of Hall)... god that makes me angry.

Bryant was tossing Hall around like a rag doll all game. Just seriously stomped on him. How tall is Bryant like 6'3? Hall looked like a small child next to him.

Even the Madden AI would figure out someone calling three cover-0 blitzes in a row. Actually, I'm reminded of the Blache 2009 where we called a cover-0 blitz and Bradshaw BURNT us on a screen.

LOL, yeah it happens every year brother.

Just extra frustrating when the game was there to be won and we somehow allowed ourselves to lose it. It was a top to bottom disaster tho. Really cant put the blame on any one player or coach.

I would have liked to see the playcall mixed up a little more. The short pass to Hightower was effective but not on called enough. Is Torain a waterboy now?

Well it does but then again we have been bad for years also, I guess ATV is parked off road somewhere who knows and no doubt this game stings bcuz
A. It's Dallas and B. we should have won by at least 7.

Let's wait and see. Not going to be an easy game for us. Short work week for a road game isn't going to be easy.

Re: Smoot Lays the Smack Down (Redskins at Cowboys)

We see how well that worked out for us tonight.

Quote:
“That’s how it was; it ain’t how it’s gonna be from here on out,” Hall said Monday morning. “I’m going wherever the [obscenity] ball is going. Wherever the receiver is going, that’s where the [obscenity] I’m going.”

Asked whether Haslett would be receptive to his demand, Hall stood firm.

“It don’t matter what he say,” Hall said. “This [is] my team. This [is] my defense. I’m gonna follow the receivers around. If we’ve got to do that to win games, that’s what I’m gonna do.”

Wow, super disagree on the whole Beck wouldn't have done better. How could he have done worse? Grossman made mistake after mistake tonight, the awful interception, the near INT in the red zone, the two other near interceptions (Santana having to play CB), losing the ball on the last play, nearly losing the ball a little earlier, having no zip on about 50% of his passes. He was pathetic, Beck would have been better by virtue of only making half those myriad mistakes

You know this is one thing that really bothers me. I know Grossman will never be a gifted athlete. But at least get your fat ass in shape. I have never been a Grossman fan, but I am quickly running out of patience for Grossman as our starter. The Cowboys near 300 pound DE chased down Grossman from behind with no problem.
For those that are saying we are 2-1 and not to worry. I am not worried because we were 6-10 last year, but we played a Giants team that was injury depleted and a Cowboys team that could not find a WR that knew the plays. They had a Safety playing CB and QB with a fractured rib. This loss was UGLY. It should have never been close to begin with.
I blame Grossman for this loss.
This bad placement on the field goal was a bad play, but we should have been ahead by two TD's at that point.
We were 6-10 last year, I say we put in Beck and see what have in him.
WE KNOW WHAT WE HAVE IN GROSSMAN. He is a backup.

Alan Ball isn't a safety. He never really was, Dallas gave him a shot at safety last year because they had nobody else to turn to. He really is a corner.

I hear you, but not too many QB's can out run a DE when the DE has momentum. The loss was ugly. Our team is not complete though. Grossman isn't our long term answer at qb. We should of won. We outplayed them, outcoached them, out executed them and lost. Grossman had a TD and a int. Romo had a Int no Td's and at least one fumble and he won.
