Alex Smith hasn't proven to consistent just yet. Anyone on the outside looking in should see that 3-4 record team losing 3 straight just recently is indeed dangerous. However, this is the Skins. Damn.

The Redskins are facing a great defense this week. With their anemic offense, the 49ers defense might end up being more ferocious than the Bills. All the Redskin offense has to do is move the ball into FG range and let their defense take care of the rest.

I had the Skins as a 17pt dog last week so I wasn't too surprised at the final margin.

Assuming the same line-up this week I make them a 14pt dog.

I'll be watching every snap as usual whatever the score.

I really see this as a low scoring game. I think the defense emerges out of the funk maybe with a score. Beck will play better. Kyle needs to get his head outta his ass and attack with running the ball and short pass plays. RB screens, WR screens, quick slants etc. Kyle has been a big disppointment along with our QB play. He really needs to shake it up.

I think its gonna be a hard hitting and ugly. We win those usually:

I have a half-ass upset contingency prediction; If the 49ers turn out to be the early season darlings & flop in the 2nd half a la Denver in 09, Skins in 08, then we win this:

On a more realistic week to week note, I think we'll bounce back & play competitively. But we'l lose a hard fought defensive game:

admittedly i havent seen the 9ers play this year but its the 9ers, seems every half-crap team does well the first 6 games or so with a new head coach (zorn, mcdaniels, currently harbaugh).

I think the 9ers are the better team but their honeymoon run is bound to hit reality like it does for everybody. Whether we win or not idk but i wouldnt bet on the 9ers being a 12 plus win team no matter what div they play in.

I say we win a tight game and get back to 50/50. Dal, Giants, philly all go down and we a sitting in second place. This is also why I don't play fantasy football.

If we continue to play piss poor run defense it will not matter what the offense does because they won't see the ball. Tough one this week, and I usually do not predict a loss so I am saying we step up and find a way 12-10 Skins.
