Given your built-in guarantee, heck yeah I would do that. That would make us much more competitive until 2015 and we would have that window of time to develop a younger long-term starter.

I'm not sure that the guarantee is realistic but that is a separate question.

Please note that Rodgers stood on the sidelines and "studied" the NFL game for more than a little while so that he was a lot more than a rookie who had only seen college defensive units on the field. There is value in drafting a QB and having him do an "apprenticeship"...
