Wilson has been playing just as bad if not even worst at times (just ask Rave). Still our DBs are bad and our safeties are worst.

Re: Adam Schefter this morning on Sports Fix

The question isn't who is better on our team right now than Hall. The question is could we use the cap space that cutting Hall would free up to replace him and make even more improvements.

Cutting him will save $8M in cap space next year. That can buy at least two starting caliber players. So the answer is a resounding yes.

Now you just have to determine if a CB will be on the market who is better than Hall (shouldn't be hard).

It's a no brainer, he's gone. I'd bet my house on it.

No, he's not. The numbers and stats show otherwise. You guys ahve just taken key plays and it's been burned into your head that he's bad. He's not. Many of the times you think it's him, it's been the safety.

I agree, Wilson is a good player and add a key shutdown CB and a slot CB and we are good. Now I know they dont grow on trees but it is doable.

Respectfully disagree!! . . . Hall is absolutely, brutally horrendous!!! . . . Wilson seems to play ok some of the time, but then tries to make up for the poor play of his fellow secondary mates (lol) and tends to get beat some because of it . . .

the worst part about hall is that he can be good to great if he'd just play smart disciplined football . . . he won't as he is strictly looking for the big play as that is when he gets all praise . . .

No way, Wilson has regressed some this year, but Hall has been getting absolutely owned.

Re: Adam Schefter this morning on Sports Fix

josh wilson just hasnt been playing the same since he got his head knocked around.. he was pretty solid for us last year.. and now? .. he just looks lost and like his EQ is off.. i hope he improves but week in and week out i find myself yelling at the TV screaming DAMN YOU WILSON!! lol .. right now i'd take hall over wilson.. but that can change.. we need to see if Merriweather can step in and provide some help at safety... ugh.. secondary is a mess and our vanilla ass looks EVERY snap on defense kills me... that and our 10 yard cushion

Re: Adam Schefter this morning on Sports Fix

We need to hang onto Wilson unless we can pull a Dallas and pick up a top CD draft pick and FA in the same year with Claiborne and Carr.

Without a 1st-round pick and missing $18mil cap space, I don't see that happening.

Hall - Cut...we need the cap space.

Wilson - Keep. We need a capable CB and he's more than capable. He's easily our best and maybe only good secondary player this season. He's having a solid year.

Not sure how good or solid Wilson has been this year, but I agree he's probably the only one worth salvaging in our secondary. Can't comment on Meri, CGriff, Tanard... but I'm not holding my breath.

Hall is gone. I'd bet Schneed's house on it.

Re: Adam Schefter this morning on Sports Fix

I know injuries hit every team, every year, but man have they smacked this team where it hurts this year. Neither projected Week 1 Safety is playing, no Orakpo, No Carriker, AND you don't have your number 1 and 2 receivers. Its a wonder they are ven competitive.... Oh the have Superman at QB, that's why.
