It should be voted on by a panel. Fan voting should completely be removed from the equation.

To give the nfl some credit they allow articles on their site to acknowledge Saturdays inclusion is an example why fan voting sucks.

Could never see Stern allowing something like that on nba.com

Re: Redskins Pro Bowl Selections

We have the biggest game here in years and people are worried about who and who didn't make the Pro Bowl? This game and the selection process is a joke. Bring on Dallas!

Re: Redskins Pro Bowl Selections

Its really not that bad, 90% of the picks make sense to me.
Most really good players don't get selected their first year of high performance anyway....unless you play DE or if you have massive marketing exposure

Morris could break the Redskins all time rushing record with over 1500 yards and is a rookie to boot. I say he should start over Gore who is also a phenomenal RB.

Morris certainly ran hard this year. Sometimes players who make the pro bowl do so because of reputation. Sort of reminds me how former Dallas Cowboys strong safety Roy Williams made it a few times based on his reputation at the time when in fact Sean Taylor deserved to go to the pro bowl.

Most disappointed for Monty, most happy for Trent. Silverblunt has answered the critics with a solid season while playing through an injury. HTTR

The pro bowl is whack. I prefer to see who makes the all-pro team means more IMO.
